The Cross An In-depth Look at the Cross of Christ Revealed in Scripture

But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2 Corinthians 3:14-16)
In this Epistle to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul tells us that for the Jews the message of the Old Testament, which they so earnestly read, was veiled or hidden from them. This veil still exists for the Jews when Moses or the Torah is read, and it is in vain that the prophets are read. The deep meaning of the Psalms cannot be comprehended. The book of Isaiah relinquishes none of its treasures. David speaks a language that they cannot understand. This veil upon the hearts and minds of the Jews will not be removed until they turn to Christ and see that He is their crucified Savior, Messiah, and King.
The sad thing is that today, in the same way, there exists a veil that blinds the minds of Christians so that they may not see fully. They are not able to look deep into the Word of God and see all that is there. The only difference is that, in their case, it is in both the Old and the New Testaments! The entire Bible is in large measure veiled to these Christians. This veil has to do with the glory of the Cross of Christ throughout the Scriptures. The main prophecies in the Old Testament about Calvary are unheeded. In fact, God has nothing more wonderful to reveal to man than the Cross. Heaven knows of nothing as glorious as the Cross.

You Must Be Born Again

What does the Lord Jesus Christ mean when He says a man must be born again to see the kingdom of God? Why is it necessary for a person to be born spiritually?
When we are born again, God the Holy Spirit creates in us a brand new spirit, one that is born of God, eternal and indestructible. No one has ever been born again apart from the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. When a person is born again, he receives a human spirit, and the Holy Spirit takes up residence in the body of the believer.

Eternal Security

Eternal Security can be defined as the believer's unbreakable relationship with the integrity of God. It remains unbreakable because of who and what God is, not who and what we are. It is what God does for us in salvation that makes this relationship permanent. Salvation is a gift of God and at the moment of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, God gave us at least forty grace gifts that are irrevocable. He cannot and will not ever take these gifts away, ROM 11:29. We cannot negate them; no other creature can negate them; even God Himself cannot negate them, ROM 8:38-39. We are kept and guarded by the power of God, 1PE 1:5.
If you are an unbeliever, the issue is faith in Christ. You must be born again. ACT 16:31b "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved" JOH 3:17-18 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
It is only through faith in the One who took your place on the Cross, and paid the price for your sins, that you can become born again and saved. Therefore, if you have never become born again and saved, take this opportunity to tell God the Father, in the privacy of your own soul, that you believe in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior.

The Eight Experiments of Man. Commentary on The Book of Ecclesiastes

The book of Ecclesiastes is proof of how much God the Father loves the lost.  This book contains much of the thinking of God’s enemy, and to allow that to appear in such measure among the sixty-six books that are His testimony to the world is, on one level, inexplicable.  Why would God do that?  The answer is because He knows that is the only way to reach so many where they live right now.  The point of reading Ecclesiastes is to recognize your lost self somewhere among the ramblings of the foolish side of King Solomon. In the end, we will see what Solomon’s conclusion is:  Happiness is not found anywhere else but in God.  Remember Him, respect Him, and guard His commands, for that is the only way to become a complete and mature spiritual person.

The Doctrine of Prayer

Prayer is a powerful weapon in the believer's life.  An important point to note first is that we are not to use prayer to try to get God to do what we want done.  Many believers try touse prayer to get their own way, not God's way.  Prayer must be compatible with God's will and God's way. Sometimes that may be our will and our way, but other times it may not.
1JO 5:14-15  "And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."
Prayer is not designed to get us out of trouble, but rather to express our helplessness, our humility, our total dependence on God, and our recognition of His grace and His mercy toward us.  Prayer is not what we want for ourselves, but what God wants for us.  In fact, prayer is an expression and an extension of Bible doctrine resident in the soul.
We fail in prayer because we fail to understand and utilize Bible doctrine correctly.
JOH 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."
Prayer was never designed to fulfill our lusts and desires; prayer is designed to fulfill the will, plan, and purpose of God for our lives.
This book looks at power of prayer and proper way to utilize that power to glorify our Lord.

The Royal Family Honor Code

The Royal Family honor code is a system of spiritual integrity mandated by God and revealed in the mystery doctrine of the Church-age. It relates to personal honor on the part of believers in their relationships with God, other Christians, and unbelievers. The honor code includes the filling of the Holy Spirit, doctrinal orientation, grace orientation, and a personal sense of destiny. It acts as a supplement to the believer's impersonal love for all mankind. As the Christian grows through the inculcation of doctrine along with the filling of the Spirit, he will begin to understand and develop the use of the honor code in his life. This will eventually enable him to acquire at least spiritual self-esteem and a personal sense of destiny.
The Royal Family honor code centers around two words-integrity and truth. Integrity is defined as adherence to spiritual, moral, and ethical principles related to truth and honesty. Therefore, the honor code applies to the predesigned plan of God, as well as every function of our life that relates to people, which even includes the laws of divine establishment.

The Doctrine of Prosperity. God's Laws on Prosperity.

We are going to start with a simple yet important principle: What God does for one, He will do for others. 2TI 3:16 says that all Scripture is inspired by God. ACT 10:34 tells us that God is not one to show partiality. We trust in God’s Word the great doctrines of the Bible, it should follow that we also trust in His Word when it comes to our finances, and according to the Bible, God wants every believer to prosper.
For the Christians that have placed their faith and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no true prosperity apart from God. Every category of prosperity; whether it is spiritual, temporal, historical, and even dying prosperity has God as its true source. He wants every believer to prosper according to His principles and guidelines as taught in the Bible.

Sins Of The Tongue

Sin is a violation or transgression of the divine law and standards of God as revealed in His Word. The sinfulness of a wrongdoing lies in the fact that it is done against God even when it is an offence done to others or to ourselves. Since God's character and standards are perfect, anything that violates them is defined in the Bible as sin. Sin, therefore, is an act of volition against God. It is a thought, a motive, or an act of wrongdoing that results in a state of alienation from God.
Sin originated in the Garden of Eden when Adam violated a direct command of God. As a result, Adam became spiritually dead and he took on a sin nature. We, as the progeny of Adam, are born with his sin nature, and his original sin is imputed to us. Therefore, at the point of physical birth we are born physically alive but spiritually dead. At first glance this may appear harsh and unfair, but this condemnation is for our great benefit. Because of this sentence, we become eligible for the greatest position that man could attain-salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and all the resulting advantages .

The Doctrine of Fear

This booklet teaches how Bible doctrine must control your emotions if fear is to be conquered. Whether the conditions causing the fear are real or imaginary the results are the same. Regardless of its source, fear will torment and punish you, and the worst thing is, you do it to yourself. Fear is self-induced misery. Fear is worry, apprehension, horror, or consternation, all of which cause the person to become paralyzed toward their problems. People are afraid of many things, and death is usually at the top of the list. However, it's not death that a man should fear; rather he should fear never beginning to truly live. The mental attitude sin of fear will snatch the life right out of you.
