Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

When our agenda, our timing and our desires override the PPOG it leads to physical and emotionally painful endings. The lack of faith rest within a Bel’s walk often leads to extended periods of misery later in their life.

Gen 13:4 to the place of the altar which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

Abram consistently sought the Lord for guidance.

2Pet 2:6-8 tells us Lot was a Bel… but involved in cosmic viewpoint, Lot was easily influenced by worldly promises which is a sign of a Bel who is walking outside PPOG.

Gen 13:8-9 Abram treated his nephew as equal; he could have easily usurped his authority in this situation.

Lot would later lose out on all the cosmic blessing he originally laid his eyes upon. Abram was waiting on God and was blessed with land & more wealth.

When our mind & desires are locked on the temporal and not the spiritual, it is a recipe for misery.

Self induced misery is a subject most Bels do not like to acknowledge.

Gen 37:23-28 shows us the timing of God can seem obscure or painful in the heat of a moment but if we trust in His wisdom the rewards in time & eternity will come to fruition.

God’s plan is being bypassed by most Bels because it involves long-term commitment to His word. Repetitive spiritual habits & respect for authority.

1Pet 2:13-15 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Inordinate ambition & competition causes people to desire or lust for things, to seek happiness in the wrong way, and as a result their timing is always off.

When your timing is off, you are not prepared for disaster. Nor are you in a position of strength to make doctrinal decisions in your life.

If God doesn’t promote you, you’re not promoted. This doesn’t just refer to a job promotion or success, but refers to the whole realm of your life; relationships, wealth, social status.

Waiting for God’s

promotion means faithfulness in the little things so that God can prepare you for the big things.

Lot lusted for and chose the beautiful Pentapolis plain, which today is under the Dead Sea. Lot was land hungry, not God hungry.

Abraham went on to fantastic things, because Abraham knew that by letting Lot choose, he couldn’t lose because he was in God’s hands, God’s timing.

Luk 16:10 “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.”

An organized life, right priorities, never permitting personal ambition, personal lusts, or personal desires to step all over the PPOG for your life, is a formula for success.

The Church Age with the PPOG is classified as the “dispensation of the fullness of times” in Eph 1:10. The timing of God for the CA is a time for Gentile nations to function as nations unto God.

Under God’s timing, Israel failed to utilize the spiritual resources provided for them. Five Jewish client nations failed, their bad timing destroyed them. Giving us a lesson in the importance of God’s timing.

Ecc 7:17 “Do not be excessively wicked, and do not be a fool. Why should you die before your time?”

Rabah Rasha’- Abundant wickedness or to be exceedingly guilty.

Cakal- silliness or foolish behavour, emotional nonsense.

You will never have divine peace & rest without being in sync with God’s plan. Outside of your daily relationship with God you can’t put yourself in sync with PPOG.

The pit was God’s timing for Joseph, which he failed to recognize. As he sat in the pit, he rejected or ignored the doctrine contained in the dreams.

(he would rule over his family).

Joseph would be put through a series of tests and within those tests he would be treated unfairly but God would guide and protect him throughout.

1Cor 4:5 Therefore, do not judge anything before the appointed time of judgment, but wait until the Lord comes (Rapture), who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts (right lobes). At that time, each believer will receive his praise from God.

Under the principle of God’s timing, you must always go one step at a time. God’s plan includes the fact you will have both great blessing and adversity. Yet every time you switch to your timing, you set back God’s perfect plan for your life.

Bad timing on the part of Bels, is any generation when Christians reject Bible Doctrine with the result that they accept false teaching from false teachers.

2Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but desiring to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves false teachers on the basis of their own lusts (desires, decisions).

The ‘tickling of the ear’ is a synonym for emotional stimulation from false doctrine. Emotional stimulation replaces the teaching of sound Bible Doctrine.

Good timing is related to our prayer life;

Heb 4:16 Therefore, let us with confidence come to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Bad timing is seen in the neglect of Bible Doctrine;

Heb 5:12 For because of the time (since salvation), you ought to be teachers, but you have need again that someone teach you the elementary principles of the oracles (doctrine) of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

Confused, immature Bels lack the basic skills to fulfil the role of ambassador, soldier and evangelist that TLJC has called them to be.

Isa 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.

2Pet 3:8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

Ecc 3:11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
