One of the most overlooked subjects in biblical Theology is understanding the difference between positional truth and your condition in Christ.
“in [en] Christ [Christou] Jesus [Ieesou]” = “in Christ Jesus” has changed more believer’s lives spiritually speaking than almost any other biblical doctrine.
There would be certain principles of doctrine that we all are going to need to rebound and to recover from.
TIT 2:11-12, For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,
One of the most vital doctrines that we all need to rebound and recover from is the Doctrine of Forgiveness or the Doctrine of Impersonal Love = rebound and recovery.
Then comes the principle of the freedom and liberty that the Mosaic Law offers every one of us through the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ROM 8:3 Weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and an offering sin in the singular.
This is something that is very vital for believers to have and to hold as a foundation to the throne of grace and mercy.
We know that to be true because of the tremendous manifestations of the Throne of Grace throughout both the Old Testament and the New Testament; Heb 4:16.
The Mosaic Law could not help the Apostles serve the Lord, not because the Law was weak but because the believers were weak who tried to fulfill the Law.
ROM 3:20 “By the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.”
Then in Rom 5:20, Paul teaches us the reason why the Law was given which is that grace abounded all the more.
ROM 7:12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
The Law is Just
The Law is Holy
The Law is Righteous
The Law is all-powerful
The Law is based on love
The Law is Forgiveness
The Law is Veracity
The Law is always right.
Job 23 – appreciate the “Divine Call of God” and the intimacy that exists because of the PVTD that winner believers must have.
JOB 23:14 “For [1Th 5:24] He performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him.
ROM 7:12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
We have Job’s last reply to his friend Eliphaz who has come right out and lambasted Job.
Eliphaz was one of those so-called friends who was a part of the “Three Blind Mice” friends of Job.
Pro 17:17, A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
Silence of God = God cannot speak during the cross examination of Satan and his fallen angels in the historical trial of the Angelic Conflict.
Satan has not taken Job’s life but he can take anything or anyone he desires, including Job’s wife, who apparently was better off to Satan alive rather than dead.
I think that we can all come up with some good reasons as to why Satan would NOT take Job’s wife!
“Hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn” = usually attributed to the English playwright and poet William Congreve.
None of us men in this church or in any other church could ever give Satan a go when it comes to looks or brains.
Satan-devil-Lucifer-Heylel = Satan is not only handsome and wise, but he would win over most of the females that might even be open to him right now!
Satan is also a genius mentally as well as a musician and a writer of music.
What Satan has desired to do is to put pressure on Job from three of Job’s friends who were influenced totally by legalism and self-righteousness.
Because of the rules of the angelic conflict, God must remain silent and Job must do it on his own with the doctrine resident in his soul.
Prin-All undeserved suffering requires you to use the inventory of your doctrine resident in your soul.
GAL 6:5 For each one shall bear his own load.
LAM 3:27-28, “It is good for a man that he should bear the yoke in his youth [time of youthful vigor]. Let him sit alone and be silent Since He has laid {it} on him.
In GEN 32:24, it wasn’t until Jacob was left alone with the Lord that his named was changed to Israel, a prince with God.
Prin: It was not until Jacob was left alone with the Lord that his named was changed to Israel, a prince with God.
We all need to have that experience of going through struggles in life alone with God.
It is part of becoming spiritually self-sustained.
In 2CH 32:31
There are times when the silence of God is manifested by all the doors in your life being closed and then you must make your own decisions.
And it is God who is testing the doctrine that is in your own heart.
JOH 8:9 And when they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst.
JOH 16:32 “Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
Prin: Right now Job is having a little trouble with the silence of God.
Prin: Right now, Job knows that he did nothing wrong to have this personal suffering in his life.
Job also knows that all of these disasters that came to him did not come his way because of any personal sin on his part or divine discipline on the Lord’s.
Remember, in your devotions or dedications, give the Lord thanks for all things.
The Lord is going to have to teach His disciples how to handle the problem of loneliness because they are about to experience the real meaning of loneliness.
