ABIDING IN CHRIST - LET HIM BE AT HOME IN OUR HEARTS
Christ indwelling us
Christ abiding in us
Christ being formed in us
Christ at home in our hearts
Christ being glorified in our bodies
GAL 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
That you may live only for Christ.
That you may think only of Christ.
That you may glory only in Him and His righteousness.
That Christ may live His life in and then through each believer.
The Holy Spirit sustained the humanity of Christ during His earthly ministry and formed in the humanity of Christ a specific character that GTF had predestined for Him.
It is not learning alone that makes a man holy and just,
We are holy, we are just at the moment of salvation.
We learn because we are holy; we don’t learn to become holy.
Do not take pride in your talent or ability.
Take pride in the One who gave you the talent and ability.
He is truly great who has great love.
He is truly great who is little in his own eyes and cares nothing for high honors.
He is truly wise who looks upon all earthly things as folly that he may gain Christ.
Do not be self-sufficient but place your trust in God. Put your trust in the grace of God who upholds the humble and humbles the proud.
It means to be at home; to make a home.
It means abiding under very relaxed conditions.
It means to settle down permanently and be at home.
THE FIRST FLOOR -
HUMILITY WHICH LEADS TO THE PERCEPTION, METABOLIZATION AND APPLICATION OF BIBLE DOCRINE.
THE SECOND FLOOR -
THINKING DIVINE VIEWPOINT LEARNED THRU THE MYSTERY DOCTRINE OF THE CHURCH AGE.
THE THIRD FLOOR -
THE VIRTUE OF PERSONAL LOVE FOR GOD.
THE FOURTH FLOOR -
THE VIRTUE OF MATURE IMPERSONAL LOVE.
THE FIFTH FLOOR -
SHARING THE HAPPINESS OF GOD AND OCCUPATION WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
