1CO 12:4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1CO 12:5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.

Every believer needs to realize that they are here to serve TLJC and that is the main reason for functioning in their spiritual gift.

1CO 12:6 And there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.
1CO 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good [the good of the team, the body of Christ].

1CO 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.
1CO 12:12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

The way that members treat one another is the way that treat TLJC.

1CO 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

1CO 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.

1CO 12:15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.

a. The attempt to think that your gift makes you superior.
b. Arrogance or inferiority.

DEACON ORDINATION
1TI 3:8
Becoming a deacon is a promotion from God.

Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain…1TI 3:8
but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 1TI 3:9
And let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach 1TI 3:10
Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. 1TI 3:11

Let deacons be husbands of only one wife, and good managers of their children and their own households 1TI 3:12
For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. 1TI 3:13
