Death broke the shackles which bound Abram to Terah his father and to Haran, the spiritual dried up place.

God will use anything that He has to – sorrow, tragedy, disaster, heartache – to wake up His children and bring them back from reversionism and into His grace.

Under the first mention principle, GEN 3:6, Satan will use a woman to draw a man away from God.
