1 Co 2:9 but just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
ISA 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
We cannot ultimately speed God’s processes up any more successfully than we can ultimately slow them down.
Unfairness is indeed inherent in the human condition, but only in the human condition.
Life here on earth is all about equal opportunity where it really counts, in the spiritual realm.
To whom much is given much is required.
JOH 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
PHI 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
It makes all the difference to a man how he perceives his religion, whether it is as something he has to carry, or whether it is something that will carry him.
God moves as fast in our lives as we are able to keep up with and that is in keeping with His plan for us! God is not slow, 2PE 3:9.
The First Temple was built in 957 BC by King Solomon (reigned 970-930 BC), as the sole place of Jewish sacrifice.
The First Temple was totally destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC when they sacked the city.
We cannot rebuild the destroyed walls of our life until we have first become truly concerned about the ruins.
Instead of focusing on how far you feel that you have deviated from that potential, focus on the promise that He has not left you or forsaken you.
We get concerned, we confront the ruins, then we confess. That’s rebound. Then we ask God also to act in our behalf to show us the plan He has for the rebuilding.
In any enterprise like this there are factors over which we have no control, and it is God who must arrange them.
“I will arise and rebuild”…
Satan always says, “Not so fast… I will arise and oppose you.”
1. He takes note of exactly what needs to be done.
2. He makes an honest survey of the facts and resources needed.
3. Then he sets out to accomplish the task.
MAR 1:17 “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
3. The Old Gate.
Truth is always old, and it is upon old… that everything new… must be built.
JER 6:16 “Thus says the Lord, Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls.”
4. The Valley Gate.
JAM 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
In the natural nothing really grows on the mountain tops, but it certainly does grow down in the valleys.
5. The Dung (Refuse) Gate.
JER 7:30-31 “For the sons of Judah have done that which is evil in My sight,” declares the Lord, “they have set their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it. They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind.”
6. The Fountain Gate.
Psa 23 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
7. The Water Gate.
The word of God does not need to be repaired. It simply needs to be re-inhabited.
8. The East Gate.
Living in a life aware of but not oriented to the news of the day, rather oriented to Bible doctrine.
9. The Horse Gate.
EPH 6:12 “We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers… the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
10. The Muster Gate.
