Many believers say that they believe in the Word of God but as far as applying what they believe in times of pressure they discover that certain mental blocks exist.
By mental blocks I mean that they are now under the influence of the world and the cosmic system because they have scar tissue of the soul and hardness of the heart.
It all begins with the principle that Satan hinders the believer from going forward in1TH 2:18 "For we wanted to come to you‑‑ I, Paul, more than once‑‑ and yet Satan hindered us."
"I insist‑‑and God backs me up on this,"‑‑ that there be no going along with the majority, not the empty‑headed, mindless crowd.
They've refused for so long to deal with God that they've lost touch not only with God but with reality itself.
"darkened in their understanding, [blackout] and excluded from the life of God [fellowship], because of the ignorance that is in them [NVTD] and because of the hardness of their heart;
Feeling no pain, they let themselves go in sexual obsession, addicted to every sort of lust and perversion.
The apostle Paul says in verse 20, "That's no life for you or you have not learned Christ in that way."
Since we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything connected with that old way of life has to go.
Eph 4:23 "a life renewed from the inside."
Eph 4:24 "that the Lord is working into your conduct as God accurately reproduces His character in you."
Father = PHI 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who has begun in you an absolute good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Son = GAL 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
Holy Spirit = Phi 2:13 for it is God [the Holy Spirit] who is at work in you, both to will [give you motivation] and to work [He gives you the ability to execute] above and beyond His good pleasure.
In Christ's body we're all connected to each other and therefore when you lie to others, you end up lying to yourself.
The Jews had failed and they have sinned against God simply by falling apart under a pressurized situation.
They looked for someone to blame and therefore Moses becomes the object of their scorn...Moses becomes the scapegoat.
All they had to do was simply admit that they were wrong and trust in the deliverance of the Lord.
Instead of admitting their own sin and failure, they accused Moses of their sins and failures.
One of the most powerful expressions of God's attributes is the omnipotence of the Lord operating in compassion which motivates forgiveness.
One of the reasons that they searched diligently for the Word of God, God had to discipline them to get their attention.
- Faithfulness is the consistency and stability of God.
- Faithfulness is the perfection of God's essence and the fact that He cannot be inconsistent or compromise His essence.
- Faithfulness is the fact that God cannot change His essence and be unfair to anyone.
- God is consistent with Himself; therefore, He is faithful and consistent with us.
In fact, there never was a time when God was unfaithful as Hos 14:4 says, "I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them.
Unfaithfulness is totally incompatible with the very nature and essence of God, MAL 3:6.
MAL 3:6 "For I, the Lord, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed."
The very existence, function, and provision of blessing for the Royal Family of God, both now and forever, depends on the faithfulness and character of God.
In spite of all this there is one who is faithful.
Deu 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God.
Lam 3:22 The Lord's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions "never" fail.
It is one thing to accept all these divine attributes as truth but it is another thing to act upon it.
God is faithful to us and He is not only faithful to tell us the best things about us but He is also faithful to tell us the worst.
God is faithful in keeping His promises. 2Co 1:20 "for as many as be the promises of God, in Him they are yes."
Num 23:19 God is not like man that he should lie, has He not said and He will do it, or has he spoken, and will He not make it good?
Think of all the rebellion that the children of Israel, the Jews, fell into and yet God was faithful.
Titus 1:2 It is impossible for Him to lie!
Heb 10:23 He who promised is faithful.
His omniscience knows everything about you.
His omnipotence has the power to do all things.
His omnipresence is always within you.
In 1Pe 4:19 to those who are going through some measure of suffering the apostle Peter says to entrust your soul to the "faithful Creator" who will always do what is right!
He is faithful in what He withholds just like He is faithful in what He gives.
He is faithful in sending sorrow as well as in giving joy.
The faithfulness of God is a truth to be acknowledged by us, not only when we are at ease but when we are in trouble.
PSA 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Thy word.
PSA 119:71 It is good for me that I was afflicted, That I may learn Thy statutes.
PSA 119:75 I know, O Lord, that Thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
Psa 89:33 Even if they sin and rebel i will not deal falsely in my faithfulness.
Hosea 5:15 in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
The reviving of the Jews after two days refers to the prophecy being stated where a day to the Lord is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day.
God the Father is faithful; Jam 1:17 Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever - Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever.
God the Holy Spirit is faithful to indwell us and teach us; Joh 14:26-28.
JOH 14:20 "In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
To be worried and concerned is to reject these divine attributes and become a loser believer.
He who has heard your prayers in the past will not refuse to supply your need in the present.
God is greatly honored when under testing for blessing or chastening, we have proper thoughts toward Him and recognize His divine attributes in action.
The sooner we trust Him in all of our affairs being fully persuaded and convinced of His love toward us...... the sooner we will find true meaning, satisfaction, and contentment in life.
Feared in the Hebrew is the verb jare which means reverently worshipped.
1Jo 2:12 "I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake."
Because God has forgiven us, believers are commanded to forgive one another in Eph 4:32 which is an imperative mood.
Forgiving one another is not only a command but it is needed for fellowship and unity in a local assembly.
This command to be kind to one another, tender‑hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you is for the believer who has attained spiritual growth.
He is tender-hearted and forgives others on the basis of the fact that God has forgiven him.
Forgiving others allows God to handle the situation rather than self.
If you have failed under disaster testing or like the Jews you are blaming others, just simply name and cite it and go on.
Rom 12:19 Beloved, do not take your own revenge, but defer to the wrath of God. For it stands written [Deu 32:35], `Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.'"
Col 3:13 "Bear one another and forgiving each other. Whoever has a complaint against anyone else, just as the Lord forgave you, so also you should forgive others."
What overcomes our resentment is that which David said in Psa 103:3 The Lord pardons all our iniquities; and heals all our diseases.
In Eph 1:7, the apostle Paul said, "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,"
We are all under surveillance by a super-natural system of demon investigators. These demon investigators have a book or a journal or a diary of your life.
According to Eph 6:12, Satan has demon investigators who constantly keep track of all believers to accuse them before the throne; Rev 12:9-10.
HEB 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.
COL 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities‑‑ all things have been created by Him and for Him.
The only thing that hinders a judgment from being carried out is that a believer gets in the way through reaction, seeking revenge, arrogance sins, emotional sins, lust to hurt others.
One of the main attributes that God uses as the Supreme Court Judge is His power or omnipotence which means He has the ability to use His power any time He wills to do so.
Omnipotence - "God Almighty" as in Gen 17:1 Now when Abram was ninety‑nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.
Nothing is too difficult for Him, Gen 18:14 "Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."
Isa 40:26 lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing.
Jer 27:5 "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight."
God's power is NOT manifested by muscle, His power is in His word and whatever He says happens. As Heb 1:3 says "He upholds all things by the word of His power."
All that happens is not from the power of God.
God has allowed both angels and mankind to possess volition, and both angels and mankind have used that volition in a negative way.
When we understand the omnipotence of God, we will be assured that "nothing is to hard for Him" as Jer 32:7 states.
Mat 19:26, "with God all things are possible."
Job said after he went through more suffering than anyone alive "I know that You can do all things" in Job 42:1.
As a plaintiff or a victim of injustice, vilification, misrepresentation, character assassination, child abuse, or victim of the public lie demands you let the Supreme Court of heaven handle the matter.
As soon as you take matters in your own hand, you take the matter out of God's hands, and the Supreme Court of Heaven can no longer act on your behalf.
Strong faith rest is needed and strong faith-rest comes from maximum metabolized doctrine circulating in the soul through the cognition and inculcation of Bible doctrine regarding the essence of God.
You will use the whole realm of doctrine, and you will have the peace of God which passes all understanding, and you will be able to handle everything in life no matter how you may have been victimized.
Point 2. The Supreme Court of Heaven is open twenty-four hours a day.
The supreme court of heaven is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and hears cases related to the following categories:
- Evil in the world.
b. Sinfulness and injustice in human affairs.
c. The rise and the fall of nations.
d. Anti-semitism, personal or national.
e. Conflicts among believers.
f. Satanic accusations against believers.
g. Divine discipline of believers.
h. Child abuse.
