Phi 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;
Phi 2:8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Pay close attention to the process of reconstruction set forth in the book of Nehemiah, chapter 3, as an analogous to your Spiritual life.
- The Sheep Gate represents the starting point for every Believer, SALVATION. Everything begins with the Cross and an offering of the Lamb of God, to those who believe, JOH 1:29
JOH 1:29 The next day he (JtB) saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
The Sheep gate reveals the principle of the cross, which is Salvation. Faith alone in Christ alone! That is always the starting place for strength in your life.
Jesus Christ is the door by which everyone must enter to be saved, JOH 10: 7-10.
JOH 10:7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
JOH 10:8 All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
JOH 10:9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
JOH 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
- The Fish Gate – the spiritual meaning of the Fish Gate is, that after our redemption we begin to follow Jesus, teaching and instructing us to be His disciples and witnesses, ‘fishers of men’. MAT 4:19
Acts 22:15 For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard
Acts 10:43 Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
The enemy will continually cast doubt and fear so you will never say a word for Christ to anyone.
REV 12:10b for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
Mat 28: 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
- The Old Gate speaks to us of the old ways of truth or a strong foundation.
This means learning the old ways of Truth, the foundational doctrines in Word of God, that NEVER changes.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
HEB 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
JER 6:16 states ‘Thus says the Lord, Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls.’
1 COR 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Build on The Truth, Bible Doctrine, if not the wall crumbles and the enemies outside gain access to our soul.
- The Valley Gate speaks to us of humbling (either being humbled by a situation or humbling oneself ) and trials ( suffering for blessing , deserved or undeserved)
The believer learns to have a low opinion of themselves but a high opinion of TLJC. JOH 3:30
JOH 3:30 “He, the Lord Jesus Christ must increase, but I must decrease”
2CO 4:17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
PSA 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
- The Dung Gate – This is where the rubbish is removed from our soul and replaced with the bible doctrine and evidence of truth.
2 COR 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Clear away the rubbish so that true faith, pistis or doctrine, refined by the fire (tested), can come forth and produce fruit. PHI 3:8.
PHI 3: 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,
- The Fountain Gate speaks to us of the “living waters” of the Holy Spirit that cleanse our lives and empower us for our Spiritual life, which is the river of life in us.
EPH 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well (fountain) of water springing up to eternal life.”
John 7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.
- The Water Gate is a picture of the Word of God and its effect in our life. Advance Doctrine.
EPH 5: 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Psalm 119:9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.
Mat 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’”
The Bible is a supernatural book, the word of God, with power to cleanse the lives of all who will study and believe God’s promises.
The Holy Spirit is the one who makes the Word of God alive to us personally, allowing cleansing, encouragement, and direction to take place in our life.
- The Horse Gate speaks to us of strength and endurance during warfare, as horses were used in battle and became a symbol of war. Rev 19:11
Rev 19:11 ‘I saw Heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness does He judge and make war.’
EPH 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We need to stay alert! the Believer is equipped daily with the full armor of God Eph 6:10-18.
We need to be broken in, then God will develop each one of us to be strong, be quick to obey and go wherever He sends and basically be strong for others.
PHI 1:21 For me, living is Christ, likewise dying is profit.
PHI 3:10 that I may come to know Him, and the power of [behind] His resurrection and the participation of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;
The Eastern Gate of Jerusalem is also called the Golden Gate or the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:2).
In Hebrew, it is Sha’ar Harahamim, the “Gate of Mercy”.
- The East Gate faced the rising sun, a new day, and is the Gate of Hope and Prosperity.
The Eastern Gate shows us of our need to live with this Hope, In Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection, and to long for His return.
2TI 4:8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- The Inspection Gate (Miphkad Gate)- This was evidently the place where judgment was conducted. 1 COR 11:31
1 COR 11:31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
This gate also speaks to us as the examination of our lives by the Lord. This occurs in this life as indicated by the apostle Paul in 1 Cor 4:4.
1 Cor 4:4 ‘For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.’
2 COR 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
ROM 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
ROM 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
ROM 8:30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
- The Gate of Ephraim – a double blessing or Super-grace life. Luke 6:38.
A double portion blessing is given to all first-born children by the father, Due 12:17.
DEU 12:17 But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, (the son of the unloved), by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure–pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
1 COR 15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
JAM 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
We as overcomers will grow into the fullness of Christ, Occupation with the Lord Jesus Christ; which is like inheriting the promise land or Kingdom of GOD.
- The Prison Gate – or the gate of the Guard, NEH 12:39. Bond servant > dying grace and eternal blessing.
Bondservant is Greek word doulos (doo’-los) =
a slave or servant (literally or figuratively, being one voluntarily; frequently therefore in a qualified sense of subjection or subserviency
ROM 1:1 Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
Sundoulos (soon’-doo-los) = a co-slave, that is, servitor or ministrant of the same master (human or divine) – fellowservant.
A life that is total lived out for the Lord Jesus Christ, which is dying Grace. Willing to die to self (OSN), live for Christ in the new creature.
Eph 4:1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,
2TI 2:24 The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,
2TI 2:25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,
PHI 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
PHI 2:6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
PHI 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
We are called out as Royal Family Members, to live our lives for others with eternity in view.
PHI 4:13 I can do all things through Him who keeps pouring His strengthen into me.
The enemy is cunning and sly but also intense and forceful … enemy forces will stop at nothing to distract and deceive you taking you away from PPOG.
DEU 1:30 The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf,
EPH 5:16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
GAL 6:10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
We, CA believers, must not only sacrifice ourselves for others, but we must walk in the light of the Lord.
EPH 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
EPH 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
EPH 5:7 Therefore do not be partakers with them;
EPH 5:8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light
EPH 5:13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
Eph 5:17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
EPH 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
