Problem-solving Device Number Five: Doctrinal Orientation.

Essentially, Doctrinal Orientation to the PPOG is the function of post-salvation inculcation of Bible doctrine, defined as the consistent PMA of Bible doctrine.

There are two ways of describing the application of metabolized doctrine: wisdom and the ten problem-solving devices.

Perception (gnosis) and metabolization (epignosis) of Bible doctrine results in having confidence (hope).

Godliness or living the spiritual life that God has provided, is a means of great profit when accompanied by contentment.

Godliness means that you're in the place where God can train you, that is, residence, function, and momentum inside the spiritual life that God has provided.

Having perfect happiness, God then gives us the ultimate in suffering for blessing which is evidence testing and this is how "godliness is a means of great profit."

So "contentment" refers to perfect happiness, begun in spiritual self-esteem, continued in spiritual autonomy, and completed in spiritual maturity.

Contentment refers to the perfect happiness developed from living the spiritual life that God has provided for every Church-age believer.

If you're content with the basic things and you develop + H, then God can trust you with the most magnificent things in life, as packaged in your escrow blessings for time.

2Co 12:10 "Therefore I am well content [that's the beginning of perfect happiness] with weaknesses [providential preventative suffering]: in insults or slanders [people testing],

with distresses or pressures [thought testing] with persecutions [system testing], with difficulties or stresses [disaster testing] on behalf of Christ.  For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Providential preventative suffering at spiritual self-esteem is designed to put you in a state of weakness in that there is no human solution to the problems that you're facing.

The four types of testing mentioned in verse 10, are warm‑ups for spiritual self-esteem in order to advance to spiritual autonomy.

The four types of test are:

  1. People testing
  2. Thought testing
  3. System testing
  4. Disaster testing

There is enough happiness in your soul from spiritual self-esteem so that you can be happy in all categories of providential preventative suffering!

Suffering can be just as great a blessing as any prosperous circumstances.

The glorification of our Lord demands that the believer in SSE put muscle on that status, that he pass providential preventative suffering so that he might advance to spiritual autonomy.

Being "strong when weak" refers to the utilization of divine power for momentum in the spiritual life that God has provided for the Church-age believer.

To be "weak" means you must make maximum use of divine power, the basis for blessing in the midst of testing.

Providential preventative suffering brings you to the point where you realize life and the devil are bigger than you, and that you won't be able to solve your problems on your own.

Until you know you're weak, you will never be strong.

To the extent that you have illusions about your so‑called strong points, you are depriving yourself of the blessings of grace.

True strength comes from using divine power to match your weakness, rather than using human power to hold at bay God's grace provision for you.

Heb 13:5 "Let your lifestyle [not character but lifestyle] be free from the love for money, being content [+H] with what you have.  For He Himself has said [Deu 31:6], `I will never leave you nor will I ever forsake you.'"

When money becomes your master, you become a pitiful slave to money.

If you already have capacity for perfect happiness, you can handle the accumulation of money without any problem.

The objective is to have money as your slave and perfect happiness as your master.

If you are content with what you have, you have perfect happiness in spiritual autonomy.

Heb 13:5, For He Himself has said [Deu 31:6], `I will never leave you nor will I ever forsake you.'

He will never leave or forsake you -- This promise assures you of both temporal and eternal security.

God will never leave you in life, nor forsake you in dying; however, this doesn't prevent God from disciplining you or allowing the law of volitional responsibility to function.

The thing about the evil of loving money is that you don't have to have money to love it.

There's a great deal of difference between enjoying money and loving money.

But when you enjoy money, You are the master and money is the slave and money makes a damn good slave.

If you have capacity for life and enjoy money, then you are the master and money is the slave.

They have no capacity for life and they have a love for money and they're always worried about the money....they're worried about losing it.

I've seen people that seem to go along very contented and then they get into bondage to their liberty and do not enjoy contentment.

Documentation for contentment in spiritual maturity is given in Phi 4:11‑13.

You still have the Lord and you still have the doctrine in the soul and the doctrine in the soul gives you capacity for life.

Having doctrine in the soul, you'll have the capacity to enjoy life, and it really is wonderful and very enjoyable.

Once you reach spiritual maturity, you have an entirely new and refreshing system of thinking, and you never think in terms of needs.

This is because once you reach spiritual adulthood, needs become inconsequential, and so you don't have to spend time thinking about them.

And note in this passage that contentment and happiness is something you learn, not something you have, want, or anticipate.

When you have perfect happiness, what more do you need?

And one of the greatest signs of prosperity is maximum use of perfect happiness.

Phi 4:12  I have come to know how to be humbled, this is something we all must learn, because by nature none of us have it.

Humiliation is associated with arrogance; being humbled is associated with spiritual growth and understanding God's grace.

And what we cannot learn from Bible doctrine, we must learn from adversity and undeserved suffering.

Humility is the most fantastic spiritual dignity that carries with it perfect happiness.

It is difficult for prosperity to successfully work in anyone simply because of arrogance.

1Co 4:7 What are you so puffed up about? What do you have that God hasn't given you? And if all you have is from God, why act as though you are so great, and as though you have accomplished something on your own?

To be initiated means to learn the secrets of the fraternity and to endure the testings of the fraternity.

"Both categories are necessary for the advance to spiritual maturity and the fulfillment of the spiritual life that God has provided.

Phi 4:13  I have the power to attain all things through Him [God the Father] who makes me strong" or by having divine power.

"I have the power" is a reference to the availability of divine omnipotence for the execution of the spiritual life that God has provided for the Church-age believer.

It is a reference to the same power available to us in the great power experiment of the Church-age that our Lord used on the cross.

"All things" refer to the three stages of spiritual adulthood, the  problem solving devices and the tremendous invisible impact on history.

Perfect happiness is increased at each stage of spiritual adulthood but it must be learned.

You have the same opportunity to attain the same spiritual adulthood and perfect happiness and invisible impact.

The source of this power is the Father, "through Him." (en + instrumental of agency = expresses personal agency.)

Endunamoo can be translated either "through Him who makes me strong," or "through Him who pours the power into me."

You cannot build your happiness on someone else's unhappiness.

Confidence then, can be classified as spiritual adulthood in its three stages of SSE, SA, SM.

Confidence can also be referred to by the technical Greek word

Elpis =  usually translated hope, but it implies doubt and uncertainty when it really means confident expectation.

Hope is an expression for doctrinal orientation, as an extension of faith, or confidence in future things.

When hope is directed towards Bible doctrine and the PPOG, it becomes confidence in the sphere of anticipation or expectation, i.e., legitimate and real.

Hope is defined as confidence in what is attainable by you in the PPOG .

Hope cannot be divorced from the function of post-salvation PMA of BD.

Hope even becomes motivation for momentum and advancement in God ’s plan, purpose, and will for your life.

In EPH 2:12, the unbeliever is described as “having no hope and without God in the world.”

When the believer faces the death of a loved one, 1TH 4:13 describes his attitude as follows – “We do not grieve as others who have no hope.”

Throughout Hebrews chapter 11 pistis (faith) means “that which is believed,” in other words, Bible doctrine.”

Doctrinal Orientation begins by defining what is meant by "predesign."

The "predesigned" plan of God  refers to the subject of predestination.

God is in  control and that He has predestined us to receive His highest and best and He has provided everything we need through doctrine.

Predestination is the provision of the sovereignty of God for you in eternity past to execute God 's plan, purpose, and will for your life.

He must provide a way for you to fulfill the conditions for receiving those blessings.

He provides the way and means; He doesn't leave anything to our works, abilities, personality, or attractiveness.

Under predestination, God provided everything you need to execute His plan, the PPOG , the only game plan for the Church-age.

Predestination is God 's grace provision for each one of us to fulfill His plan and to receive the conveyance of our escrow blessings.

Predestination is the provision of the sovereignty of God  for you in eternity past to execute God's plan, purpose, and will for your life.

God provided everything you need to execute His plan, the PPOG , the only game plan for the Church-age.

Predestination is God's grace provision for each one of us to fulfill His plan to receive the conveyance of our escrow blessings.

Your equal privilege of predestination is being made Royal Family by the baptism of the Holy Spirit who placed you in union with Christ at salvation.

We share Christ 's heirship, being made heirs of God.

We are the sons of God, adopted as adult sons Roman style.

Your equal opportunity in predestination is your very own plan, designed perfectly for you and prefabricated for you in eternity past.

Predestination is the work of God  the Father in eternity past on behalf of every Church-age believer to execute God's plan, purpose, and will for his life.

Predestination is the grace provision of God the Father for the royal family.

What we call in time the PPOG is from the divine viewpoint of eternity past called predestination.

  1. Predestination means that there is a plan perfectly designed for you, EPH 1:11"having been predestined for a predetermined plan."

EPH 1:11  also we have obtained an inheritance, having been "predestined" according to his purpose who works all things after the counsel of his will.

  1. Predestination means the possession of your very own personalized and individual plan, ROM 8:29, "He also predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son."

  1. Predestination means royalty. The believer is Royal Family of God, EPH "He has predestined us for the purpose of adoption to himself."

  1. Proorizo means to predesign, ROM 8:28‑29; EPH 1:5,11.

EPH 1:5  He "predestined" us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

EPH 1:11  also we have obtained an inheritance, having been "predestined" according to his purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,

  1. Protithemi means to predetermine, ROM 3:25; EPH 1:9.

EPH 1:9  He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to his kind intention which He "purposed" or predetermined in Him.

  1. Prothesis means a predetermined plan, ROM 8:28, 9:11; EPH 1:1, 3:11; 2TI 1:9.

EPH 1:11  also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to his "purpose" or [prothesis His predetermined plan] who works all things after the counsel of His will.

EPH 3:11 this was in accordance with the eternal purpose [or the prothesis which is his predetermined plan] which he carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,

  1. Proginosko means to foreordain, 1PE 1:20; ROM 8:29, 11:2.

  1. Prognosis means foreknowledge or predetermined purpose, ACT 2:23; 1PE 1:2.

In fact, in 1PE 1:2, the purpose is described as having "grace and prosperity in its fullest measure."

1PE 1:1  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen.

1PE 1:2   according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure.

  1. The PPOG is a strict system of procedure based upon the accurate teaching of the word of God.

With the introduction of human power and energy of the flesh function, sloppiness occurs.

PRO 13:4 the soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat.

Most of the blessings that believers receive come in the form of logistical grace and not from fulfilling the conditions found in their escrow.

We are also warned against sloppiness and laziness in PRO 19:15,  laziness casts a person into a deep sleep, and an idle soul will suffer hunger.

HEB 6:12  that you may not be sluggish [lazy and sloppy], but imitators of those who through doctrine and patience inherit the promises.

God has developed, in His grace, a system which is totally impossible for human power to live in.

And sloppy procedure is always related to emotion, to human works, and to human activity, and is always a manifestation of arrogance.

The Christian way of life is executed through the power of the Holy Spirit who does not produce emotion.

Emotion is produced by the body; The Holy Spirit produces the accuracy and preciseness ‑ a vast difference.

The PPOG  is the procedure for every Church-age  believer as a member of the Royal Family of God and body of Christ.

This plan is almost 2000 years old, for it began with our Lord's resurrection.

Ten days after His ascension the Church-age began, which is the dispensation of divine power.

It is the system God has devised to delegate His power to manufacture a winner out of the Church-age believer.

The PPOG defines the lifestyle of the believer who fulfills the mechanics of the Christian way of life by residence, function, and momentum inside of God's plan.

The believer functions under the enabling power of the H.S. and momentum from metabolized doctrine.

The PPOG  is the divine system for the utilization of God's power whereby every Church-age believer is able to glorify God with Divine means not through any human means.

God  would be compromised if any Christian  could glorify Him through any system from the energy of the flesh.

It is called a realm because the boundaries of this divine power are confined.

(1)  The enabling power of God the Holy Spirit.

(2)  The dynamic power of Bible Doctrine, HEB 4:12.

The PPOG  is summarized in the believer's day-by-day residence inside of that plan under the enabling power of the H.S. and momentum from Bible doctrine.

The PPOG is based on the fact that God  has only one way of doing a thing:  the right way.

(1)  The right way is compatible with God's divine attributes, including His omnipotence.

(2)  Therefore, a wrong thing done in a wrong way is wrong.

(3)  In the PPOG, a right thing must be done in a right way to be right.

(4)  The right thing done in a right way is the PPOG , and the procedure which God  has laid down for us in that plan.

(5)  A right thing can only be done in a right way through the utilization of divine power.

(6)  A right thing done in a right way demands residence inside the PPOG  under the enabling power of the spirit, and momentum from metabolized doctrine.

(7)  A right thing done in a right way comes from the  perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

(8)  Therefore, a right thing done in a right way demands two basic factors.

(a)  You must have your right P-T  communicating every aspect of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age  including your invisible assets, the PSD’s and how to execute the PPOG.

(b)  The positive believer must consistently function the  perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

The humanity of Christ during His incarnation and first advent, utilized the divine power of God  in the fulfillment of the Father 's plan for the incarnation.

As ZEC 4:6 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts.

Or MAT 22:29   but Jesus  answered and said to them, "you are mistaken, not understanding the scriptures, or the "power" of God.

Act 1:8 but you shall receive "power" when the Holy Spirit  has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

ROM 15:13  Now may the God of hope [confidence] fill you with all happiness and prosperity by means of believing, that you may abound in hope [confidence] by the "power" of the Holy Spirit.

The next book is 1CO 2:4, Paul says, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of "power."

In other words, his doctrine was not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of "power."

1CO 2:5  that your faith should not rest on the wisdom [the intellect or the genius] of men, but on the "power" of God.

1CO 4:19  but I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant, but their power. - their energy that they are functioning under.

1CO 4:20  for the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power.

2CO 4:7but we have this treasure in earthen vessels [human bodies], that the surpassing greatness of the "power" may be of God  and not from ourselves;

2CO 12:9 and he has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for "power" is perfected or matured in weakness."

Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the "power" of Christ may dwell in me.

2CO 13:4  For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the "power" of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we shall live with him because of the "power" of God  directed toward you.

EPH  1:19  and what is the surpassing greatness of his "power" toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of his might.

EPH 1:20  which he put into operation in Christ , when he raised him from the dead, and seated him at his right hand in the heavens.

EPH 3:7  of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His "power."

Eph 3:16  that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with "power" through his spirit in the inner man;

PHI 3:10   that I may know Him, and the "power" of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

COL 1:11  strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously.

COL 1:29 and for this purpose also I labor, striving according to his "power", which mightily works within me.

1TH 1:5  for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in "power" and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction;

Next is 2TH 1:11, to this end also we pray for you always that our God  may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with "power".

Go forward to 2TI 1:7  for God  has not given us a spirit of fear, but of "power" and love and discipline.

2TI 1:8  Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me his prisoner; but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the "power" of God.

2TI 3:5  holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its "power"; and avoid such men as these.

2PE 1:3   seeing that his "divine power" has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence.

Understanding the power of God in the PPOG is something that the apostles taught constantly.

Procedure is defined as a particular "way" of accomplishing something.

The second principle; Procedure also means a "series of steps" followed in a regular definite order.

Procedure implies that there is a method, a policy, a process, a strategy, and a technique.

Procedure implies persistent and consistent living inside of God's plan for your own life.

Procedure also demands understanding and utilization of the problem-solving devices.

Procedure results in execution of the PPOG through the  perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

Procedure results in the manufacture of the spiritual champions which is the only way to glorify God in this dispensation.

Procedure demands dependence on divine power rather than on any form of human power or the energy of the flesh.

This procedure, the PPOG, is the only place and the only way for the utilization of divine power for the fulfillment of God's plan and the glorification of God.

The divine power of the Word of God, HEB 4:12, and the divine power or omnipotence of God  the Holy Spirit , ACT 1:8.

A right thing in a right way, even as imperfect human beings.

The filling of the Spirit is the means of the believer having the perception and metabolization of doctrine resulting in the momentum by which we execute God's plan.

Prin - The believer who flunks the procedure test functions in Satan's cosmic system.

God's procedures is especially hindered by the two great enemies of the Christian:  Ignorance and arrogance.

Divine power is first manifest in the  perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

In Lev 22:21  'And when a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering of the herd or of the flock, it must be "perfect" to be accepted;

In DEU 32:4, speaking of the Lord, it says, He is the rock, His work is "perfect."

PSA 19:7   The Torah or the doctrine of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;

ROM 12:2  and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God  is,

And then the will of God  is described by the apostle Paul, that which is good and acceptable and "perfect."

In 1CO 13:10, Paul said, but when the perfect comes [a reference to the completed canon of scripture], the partial [signs and wonders] will be done away.

JAM 1:25  but one who looks intently at the perfect law [doctrine], the law of liberty,

Notice the word "how" = The right thing must be done in the right way.
