Those who have their conscience seared are those who were once into doctrine.

“by your life” your lifestyle “the life of your soul” your system of thinking.
David reasons that a person who is incorruptible while sober may be easily corrupted once he’s drunk, PRO 23:29-35.
Once your conscience becomes defiled and seared, youre always going to be inconsistent. MAT 23:3 “For they say things, and do not do them.”
“He made him drunk” piel imperfect shacar causative action intensive stem; he caused him to become really drunk.
HAB 2:15 “Woe to you who make your neighbors drink, Who mix in your venom even to make {them} drunk So as to look on their nakedness!”
David’s second conspiracy was frustrated for the same reason that his first conspiracy was frustrated, the integrity and honor of the Uriah the Hittite.
MAT 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.”
Alcohol is a depressant, but it cannot excuse wrong behavior.
Moses committed murder, EXO 2:12, ACT 7:28.
1TI 4:1-2 “those who have their conscience seared are those who were once into doctrine.”
The only way any conspiracy can be effective and successful = whatever the honor code of an organization calls for, it must be violated.
Joab is a mature believer, and because of this act, Joab is going to die the sin unto death.
For a general officer to die with his hands hanging on to the altar in the temple, with his guts being ripped out slowly, is the highest type of summary of court martial in the Jewish army, 1KI 2:28-34.
Uriah disobeyed David and maintained his integrity.
Uriah dies honorably.
LUK 23:28 “Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.”
Even though he was murdered, he still died under the perfect timing of God, JOB 5:26, PSA 68:20.
1CO 4:9 “For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.”
Better to be dead honorably, then alive with loss of integrity!
Institutional arrogance, impulsive arrogance, authority arrogance, conspiratorial arrogance, criminal arrogance, sexual arrogance, and motivational arrogance.
He will enter into emotional arrogance, irrational arrogance, the arrogance of unhappiness, but most of all, psychopathic arrogance.
This conspiracy will succeed for one reason only: it is time for the Lord to take Uriah home to be with Himself.
2CO 13:8 “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.”
