We have been created for the distinct purpose of bringing glory to the Lord; REV 4:11; ISA 43:7; Isa 44:22.
REV 4:11 “Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created.”
ISA 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.
ISA 43:21 “The people whom I formed for Myself, will declare My praise.”
ISA 43:25 “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.
ISA 37:35 ‘For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’ “
ISA 48:9 “For the sake of My name I delay My wrath, And for My praise I restrain it for you, In order not to cut you off.
every once in a while we need to “count our blessings ” because we realize that “all things start with God.
PSA 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities‑‑ all things have been created by Him and for Him.
The Amplified Bible Translation
KJB (King James Bible translation)
NIV (New International version)
(TLB) “The Living Bible Translation
(WNT) Weymouth Translation.
I have been using what is known as the Message Bible Translation.
It expands the original language to be more meaningful an understandable.
Col 1:16 “For everything absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible. Everything got started by Him and for Him and find its purpose in Him.”
The apostle Paul is saying that “It’s not about you!”
It is definitely a challenge for the believer to fulfill the purpose he or she is has been created.
It’s not about you, it’s not about me, nor is it about others!
The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness.
If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose.
We ask self-centered questions like “What do I want to be?”
It is focusing on ourselves that will never reveal our life’s purpose.
As a part of the plan of God, the main issue is who are we going to be occupied with, focusing in on ourselves or occupation with Christ!
ISA 1:5-6, Where will you be stricken again, As you continue in your rebellion? The whole head is sick, And the whole heart is faint.
ISA 1:6 From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing sound in it, Only bruises, welts, and raw wounds, Not pressed out or bandaged, Nor softened with oil.
Jeremiah learned this same principle in JER 17:9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?
King David learned this principle when he wrote a psalm or a song about the mere breath or vanity of man.
PSA 39:5 “Behold, Thou hast made my days as handbreadths, And my lifetime as nothing in Thy sight, Surely every man at his best is a mere breath. Selah.
PSA 39:6 “Surely every man walks about as a phantom; Surely they make an uproar for nothing; He amasses riches, and does not know who will gather them.
“It is God who directs the lives of His creatures because everyone’s life is in God’s power.”
PSA 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.
EPH 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
EPH 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
EPH 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that [all those three areas Paul just mentioned [the grace, the salvation, and the faith] .
JON 2:9 I will sacrifice to Thee with the voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation (or deliverance] is from the Lord.”
As the apostle Paul puts it — that contrary to what many popular books, movies, and seminars tell you, you won’t discover your life’s meaning by looking within yourself
Prin: You didn’t create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for!
If I handed you an invention you had never seen before, you wouldn’t know its purpose, and the invention itself wouldn’t be able to help you either.
Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose. Only the creator or the owner’s manual could reveal the purpose.
You cannot arrive at your life’s purpose by starting with a focus on yourself. You must begin with God, your Creator. You exist only because God wills that you exist.
BIBLE = the Lord is the one who decides the time of our death, the place of our death, and the means of our death.
It is the timing of God who ultimately makes the decisions concerning who is going to die and when and how!
PSA 68:20 God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.
You were made by God and for God-and until you understand that, life will never make sense.
It is only in God that we discover our origin, our identity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny. Every other path leads to a dead end.
You were made for God, not vice versa, and life is about letting God use you for His purposes, not your using Him for your own purpose.
God longs for you to discover the life He created
you to live-here on earth, and forever in eternity.
Eph 1:11 It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ because he had his eye on us, and he had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
“Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life.
You were made by God and for God – and until you understand that, life will never make sense.
The easiest way to discover the purpose of an invention is to ask the creator of it. The same is true for discovering your life’s purpose: Ask God.
The Bible is our Owner’s Manual, explaining why we are alive, how life works, what to avoid, and what to expect in the future.
The Bible says, “God’s wisdom …goes deep into the interior of his purposes. … It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest-what God determined as the wav to bring out his best in us.”
Everything starts with God!
We all should be thankful and grateful for grace and for one another.
“Be kind to one another, tender‑hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you” is for the believer who has attained spiritual growth.
He is tender-hearted and forgives others on the basis of the fact that God has forgiven him.
Forgiving others allows God to handle the situation rather than self.
If you have failed under disaster testing or like the Jews you are blaming others, just simply name and cite it and go on.
EXO 14:14, The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.”
DEU 3:22 ‘Do not fear them, for the Lord your God is the one fighting for you.’
JOS 23:10-11, “One of your men puts to flight a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, just as He promised you. “So take diligent heed to yourselves to love the Lord your God.”
2CH 20:15, the Jews were afraid of the military and the nations which had gathered against them so much so they were extremely outnumbered.
2CH 20:15b Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.
2CH 20:17 ‘You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf,
If you are fulfilling the PPOG, there are some other passages in the New Testament which talks about the trap of revenge that is designed by Satan to destroy the human race and then blame God for doing it.
Rom 12:19 “Beloved, do not take your own revenge, but defer to the wrath of God. For it stands written [Deu 32:35], `Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Col 3:13 “Bear one another and forgiving each other. Whoever has a complaint against anyone else, just as the Lord forgave you, so also you should forgive others.”
This is guidance and direction concerning how to function under the Supreme Court of Heaven without any resentment.
What overcomes our resentment is that which David said in Psa 103:3 The Lord pardons all our iniquities; and heals all our diseases.
In Eph 1:7, the apostle Paul said, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,”
We are under surveillance by a super-natural system of demon investigators. These demon investigators have a book or a journal or a diary of your life.
According to Eph 6:12, Satan has demon investigators who constantly keep track of all believers to accuse them before the throne; Rev 12:9-10.
HEB 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.
COL 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities‑‑ all things have been created by Him and for Him.
The only thing that hinders a judgment from being carried out is that a believer gets in the way through reaction, seeking revenge, arrogance sins, emotional sins, lust to hurt others.
One of the main attributes that God uses as the Supreme Court Judge is His power or omnipotence which means He has the ability to use His power any time He wills to do so.
Omnipotence – Gen 17:1 Now when Abram was ninety‑nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.
Gen 18:14 “Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”
Isa 40:26 lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing.
Jer 27:5 “I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.”
God’s power is NOT manifested by muscle, His power is in His word and whatever He says happens. As Heb 1:3 says “He upholds all things by the word of His power.”
Point 2. The Supreme Court of Heaven is Always Open and Available for Believers Only.
The Lord is with you and available to you no matter what it is that you are bringing to the SCOH.
Ask God the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction in the matter and He will always guide you to do the right thing, in the right way and at the right time.
We need to understand some of the very basic principles that we need to be aware of when we are serving God with joyfulness of heart.
We will be targets for Satan and his kingdom of demons and fallen angels.
The supreme court of heaven is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and hears cases related to the following categories:
- Evil in the world.
b. Sinfulness and injustice in human affairs.
c. The rise and the fall of nations.
d. Anti-Semitism, personal or national. - Conflicts among believers.
f. Satanic accusations against believers.
g. Divine discipline of believers.
h. Child abuse. - Evil in the world. 1TH 5:21-22, But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 1TH 5:22 abstain from every form of evil.
- Sinfulness and injustice in human affairs. PSA 53:1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God,” They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice; There is no one who does good.
- The rise and the fall of nations. REV 2:26 ‘And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;
- Anti-Semitism, personal or national. GEN 12:3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
- Conflicts among believers. JAM 4:2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
- Satanic accusations against believers. REV 12:10 “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
- Divine discipline of believers. HEB 12:5-6, “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by Him; For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He scourges every son whom He receives. “h. Child abuse. MAT 18:6 Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.
