Cures for anxiety, fear and worry. Part 5.

Friday, November 4, 2011

Man worries and is anxious because he tries to live life on his own without the guidance of God

aforaoo = To look away from other things and steadfastly and intently look toward another object.

The minute the Christian takes his eyes off of the Lord Jesus his momentum in the Christian life is hindered.

Our Lord once walked where we walk.
He knows through firsthand experience our difficulties and sorrows.

JOB 1:21 – “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

Laying up treasure in heaven is whatever you do when you are filled with the Holy Spirit.

MAT 24:35 – Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will last forever.”

If you put the Word first you are going to have great inner happiness [contentment], great peace, and complete blessing.

His knowledge comes from His state of being and not something that He acquires. God cannot learn anything.

JER 29:13 – God has promised in his word, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Col. R.B. Thieme Jr.
You must hear a doctrine hundreds of times. The more you hear a doctrine, the sooner you will apply it.
You haven’t learned a doctrine until you can’t forget it!

MAT 6:34 – Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Concentrate on today with the power that God has given for that day and be content, knowing everything is under His perfect guidance.

Everything we have is from the grace of God. Therefore, all treasures are to be held subject to God and used as He directs.

Put your life in the Lord’s hands and leave it there. Meet each day with confidence in God.

True success is to find one’s place in the body of Christ and to live in it, faithfully handling the task God has given to you.

Learn to live one day at a time. Refuse to worry about tomorrow.

Learn the difference between the essentials and the details. The Word of God is essential. Bringing glory to God is essential

We are never going to make a difference in this world until we show the world the power of living one day at a time.
