When you reject or neglect Bible doctrine, for even a short period of time, you become bored and familiar with the best things in life.
Never neglect doctrine, because you always lose something that was more important than you will ever realize, until it’s gone.
He figured he would “take advantage ” of his brother’s weakness and rob the blessing from him.
They allow their carnal and physical desires to drown out the conviction of the Holy Spirit and obscure the vision of divine blessings for the promise of temporal things.
How few believers actually recognize the privilege of gathering together for public worship through the intake of doctrine.
HEB 11:6 And without doctrine resident in the soul it is impossible to please Him,
MAR 12:30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
LUK 10:27 And he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
DEU 6:5 “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”
ACT 2:46 And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
“Godless” = someone who leaves God out of their life.
They are given an eternal inheritance, EPH 1:14. They have been given eternal life, but through N.V.T.D., they have ignored the reality of living in that life in time.
They have been reconciled to God, but they ignore that relationship that comes from reconciliation.
They have been created a new spiritual species or a new creature but do not live in the new creation.
They have been entered into the Royal family of God forever. They have been given equal privilege and equal opportunity to glorify God.
They have been given the universal priesthood of the believer but refuse to function as priests through their N.V.T.D.
They have been made a Royal ambassador, but have sent a message to their king, TLJC, “I’m not interested in representing you in this foreign country called the world!”
They have been given the indwelling of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and have ignored their presence.
They have been given the unique availability of divine power but insist on relying on their own disgusting, repulsive, sickening human power.
They have been given a portfolio of invisible assets but have sold out to the cosmic system. They have been given the unique predesigned plan of God but insist on relying on their own plans.
They have been given a spiritual gift to build up and edify their local assembly, but they are too busy in the devil’s world to do so.
They have been transferred into the kingdom of God and delivered from the kingdom of Satan but have refused to accept that liberty and freedom.
They have been given direct access to God but do not have time to approach Him. They have been given escrow blessings but would rather receive cosmic compensation.
GEN 3:4 “You surely shall not die!” MAT 4:9 “All these things will I give You, if You fall down and worship me.”
MAR 8:36 “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?”
2TI 2:4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.
LUK 8:14 “these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.”
ISA 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.
HEB 10:5 He says, Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired, But a body Thou hast prepared for Me;
1PE 2:22-23 He committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth, ISA 53:7. HEB 9:14 through the eternal Spirit, He offered Himself without blemish to God.
JOH 19:30 “It is finished!”
1CO 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread;
1CO 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
1CO 11:25 In the same way He took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
1CO 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.
