How to Discover Your Spiritual Gift.

If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefields besides, is mere fight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.
Martin Luther

A new study on the Cross.

1.Cross bearing refers to the time when we die daily in 1CO 15:30 and it is when the OSN is dead to sin.
The OSN died on the cross. PHI 1:21 1CO 15:30.

1PE 4:14 If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
1PE 4:15 By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler;
1PE 4:16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God.
1PE 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
1PE 4:18 And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?
1PE 4:19 Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Many people take on jobs in the church that they have no ability to do, because those that have the gift refuse to operate in the gift.
P
rophecy is not for telling its fourth telling. It’s not line upon line or detailed study.

These gifts will include

Gifts are given by the Lord to magnify the Giver who is Jesus Christ.

MAT 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

1CO 12:11 tells us that the Holy Spirit administers the distribution of the gifts.
1CO 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

It is so vital to remember to magnify the Lord in everything we do! Col 3:17, ECC 9:10

Col 3:17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

ECC 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity, planning, knowledge, of wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

We believe in Him, we love Him, love His word but perhaps we don’t take time to magnify His name.

Essence of God means the characteristics of God’s nature reveals the implementation of God’s provision for the believer, Titus 2:11-12.

Essence of God – reveals to us who God is, what He’s done and how He does it.

Lack of fellowship with who God is comes from not understanding the essence of God.

God supplies physical needs, Matthew 6:24–34Ephesians 6:10-16, God supplies spiritual needs, Daniel 4:25.

MAT 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

Mat 6:25 “For this reason I say to you, [q]do not be worried about your [r]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?

MAT 6:26 Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

Mat 6:27 And which of you by worrying can add a single day to his life’s span?

Mat 6:28 And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth,

Mat 6:29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

Mat 6:30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

Mat 6:31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’

Mat 6:32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

Mat 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be we provided to you.

Mat 6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

God supplies spiritual needs, Daniel 4:25.

DAN 4:25 that you be driven away from mankind and your dwelling place be with the animals of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven periods of time will pass over you, until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.

Perfect righteousness = God,
self righteousness = mans. PSA 145:17, ROM 8:2 – 3, JOH 1:14 – incarnation, PSA 85:10 – 12, PSA 33:4 – 117:2

God’s grace has been shown to the whole world, his grandchildren, results = Hebrews 13:9 established = present/passive/infinitive.
