The dispensation of the Hypostatic union was therefore the most unique expression of the fantastic power of God ever known to man.
Long before 70 AD when Jerusalem was destroyed, Israel stopped functioning as a client nation to God.
Around 4 BC, we have the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ which was the beginning of the first Christocentric dispensation, the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union -
The Incarnation of Jesus Christ.
The Romans had complete control of the Jews even though the dispensation of Israel was not completed.
JOH 8:32-33 “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never yet been enslaved to anyone;”
The client nation was dead for all the obvious reasons, mainly NVTD, and for all the operational purposes and responsibilities they were given, for the privilege of knowing and glorifying God.
The only reason Judea was still there is so that the Jews in their homeland could have the freedom to make a decision regarding TLJC as their Messiah.
Starting with the dispensation of the Church-age in 30 AD God them another 40 years to 70 AD before Jerusalem was destroyed as God used the gift of tongues to evangelize the Jews.
1CO 1:22 For indeed Jews ask for signs.
1CO 14:22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to unbelievers;
This was a sign fulfilling a Jewish prophecy; the sign of tongues was given to the Jews from 30 AD to 70 AD, just as Isaiah had prophesied in ISA 28:11.
ROM 11:1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be!
ROM 11:15 For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
They rejected the greatest sign of all, the virgin birth, ISA 7:14.
GEN 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you [Satan] and the woman, And between your seed [the devil is the father of the unbelievers, JOH 8:44] and her seed [TLJC];
He shall bruise you on the head [take away the poison and power of the serpent], And you shall bruise him on the heel [a reference to the unfair and unjust treatment of our Lord prior to the Cross].
GAL 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.
GAL 4:4 But when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
The dispensation of the hypostatic union began with the virgin birth or the incarnation which refers to the only impeccable birth in human history, the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
ISA 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.
MAT 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant [through the power] of the Holy Spirit.
TLJC was conceived by the Holy Spirit and therefore born apart from human copulation.
In this way, the Lord Jesus Christ came into the world without the imputation of Adam’s original sin and therefore without an OSN.
The necessity of the virgin birth is based on the fact that the OSN is passed down to each member of the human race through the male species.
1TI 2:14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression.
The man is the one that God held responsible for the passing down of the OSN.
She admitted that she was a sinner and in need of a Savior - LUK 1:46-47.
Mary also offered a sacrifice for sin according to the prescriptions of Lev 12, recorded for us, LUK 2:21-24.
They brought two young pigeons.
One for a burnt offering.
One for a sin offering.
She did not remain a virgin after the birth of Jesus, MAT 13:53-58,
MAR 6:3; GAL 1:19.
MAT 1:25 And Joseph kept her a virgin UNTIL she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.
The virgin birth was the only way to become a member of the human race apart from spiritual death and the imputation of Adam’s original sin to the genetically formed OSN.
Not only did He have to be born minus spiritual death but He also had get to the cross minus spiritual death.
In His deity, He was not able to sin.
But in His humanity, he was able not to sin.
When TLJC was hanging on the cross, He was hanging there as the only member of the human race who was totally innocent and sinless.
The first victory - the First Advent which consummated with the cross, the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and session of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The second victory will be at the Second Advent, where TLJC takes over the rulership of the world and “makes His enemies His footstool.”
1PE 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust - the righteous One on behalf of the unrighteous ones.
He did however become a “sin offering.”
2CO 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
While God the Father used both His justice and omnipotence to judge the Lord Jesus Christ, it was the omnipotence of God the Holy Spirit that sustained the humanity and impeccability of Christ.
HEB 9:14 through the eternal Spirit He offered Himself without blemish to God,
1PE 1:19 He was of the lamb of God, unblemished and spotless,
