The next dispensation which I like to refer to as the Dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

There are some unique differences between the dispensations and their functions and their purpose.

The dispensation of the Hypostatic Union or the Dispensation where TLJC is the main attraction and the center of all worship in the dispensations that are found in the Word of God.

Different Views = believers either react or respond to whatever the Lord brings their way for a divine purpose as well as the ability that all believers have as they grow in the grace and knowledge of TLJC.

  1. a. There is no such thing as dispensations.
  2. b. There are only Two Dispensations, the Old Testament and the New Testament.
  3. c. Some believers believe that they will there we discover that some believe that there are four dispensations with different views and this goes all the way to believing that there are as much as Eight. Dispensations with different principles or different points to view or somewhere in between 4-8].

Some believers believe:
a. No Dispensations
b. Two Dispensations
c. Three Dispensations
d.  Four Dispensations

  1. e. Five Dispensations
    Six Dispensations
    g. Seven Dispensations
    h. Eight Dispensations
    .
  2. 1. Theocentric Dispensation = designed to glorify God the Father by the other two members in the Trinity; God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. 2. Christocentric Dispensation = designed to glorify The Lord Jesus Christ by the other two members of the Trinity, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
  4. 3. Dispensation of Eschatology = designed to glorify God the Holy Spirit especially by the other two members of the Trinity, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The first category again is called a Theocentric dispensation  which is designed to glorify God the Father by means of God the Son and God the Holy Spirit glorifying God the Father.

The second category is called a Christocentric dispensation  which is designed to glorify TLJC by God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.

The third category is called the dispensation of Eschatology which is  designed to glorify God the Holy Spirit by means of God the Father and God the Son.

Each member of the God-head is glorified by the two other members of the Trinity!

Just like prayer involves all three members of the Trinity, as we pray to the Father in the name of the Son and under the power of God the Holy Spirit.

Theocentric Dispensation –  refers to the Age or the times of the Gentiles as well as the Age or the times of the Jews—which occurred before Christ came in the Human flesh.

Christocentric Dispensation = our Lord’s birth and the doctrine of the Hypostatic Union and also will lead us to the Dispensation of the Church or the Church-age and our relationship to Him.

The dispensation of Eschatology or the end times and how the believer can handle those principles.

Hypostatic union” – the theological term for the incarnate person of Christ, the union of God and man.

They are all under a divine purpose which is revealed by the word incarnation referring to the time that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, dwelt on earth in hypostatic union

Virgin Birth = the relationships that apply to us living the spiritual life by understanding “how” and “why”  the Lord had to become a member of the human race.

The Doctrine of the Virgin Birth when God the Son, who took upon Himself true humanity and became a new person known as the God-Man, the unique person or the unique one of the universe.

Kenosis means that TLJC willingly chose to be a member of the Human Race with a Divine Plan and a Divine Purpose for all of us or for “whosoever” wills!

Notice why God gathered His people in ACT 4:28  to do whatever Thy hand and Thy purpose predestined to occur.

ROM 8:28  And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose.

This doctrinal principle is also mentioned in passages like Phi  2:5-11; 1Ti  3:16.

1TI 3:16  And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness or spiritually found : He who was revealed in the flesh,

Was vindicated in the Spirit, Beheld by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

Hupostasis = hypostatic and is especially used in HEB 1:3 and it means that our Lord is of a  “substantial nature, or the exact essence of deity and it means that TLJC has exactly the same nature as God the Father .

HEB 1:3  And He [TLJC] is the radiance of His glory [that is He is exactly like the glory that God the Father has so does God the Son, TLJC].

When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

This very vital principle concerning the doctrine of the Hypostatic Union and the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is exactly like God the Father as well as exactly like God the Holy Spirit.

Our Lord is NOT HALF GOD and HALF MAN but He is undiminished deity and true humanity in one person forever.

Incarnate Christ = One who has two natures are inseparably united but without loss or mixture of separate identities, without loss or transfer of properties or attributes.

The union is both personal (the God-Man is one person) and eternal (He will be the God-Man forever).

This is when undiminished deity took upon Himself true humanity in person forever order to be the Savior of all men (Heb 2:14-15; Phi  2:7-8).

Our Lord also became a member of the human race so that He could become a mediator between God and man (Job 9:2, 32-33; 1Ti 2:5-6).

At the time this was written our Lord had not become a member of the human race as of yet and therefore He could not be a mediator between both parties, deity and humanity.

When it becomes reality is when our Lord was born as a member of the Human race and deity and humanity came together in one person forever, TLJC.

The unique one of the universe is God who and also became like us, true humanity, and now He is the Unique one

Every Sabbath day the orthodox Jews will say what Deu 6:4  says,  “Shama Israel Adonay Elohenu Adonay echad” which is translated “Shama (listen) Israel (Israel) Adonai (the Lord) Elohenu (is God) and then Adonai (the Lord)  is echad (is the unique one) of the universe.

That. my brothers and sisters, is Awesome

The Lord Jesus Christ is true humanity and undiminished deity in one person forever!

Why TLJC became the great high priest representing man before God which is and is found basically in the book of Hebrews.

We also need to know and recognize “why” our Lord became the human king of Israel in fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant (2Sa 7:8-16; Psa 89:20-37).

The Dispensation of the Hypostatic Union is the epoch recorded in the Gospels, the first four books of the New Testament.

This period began with the virgin birth of Christ and terminated with His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and session at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

The Gospels reveal our Lord’s sinless life and saving work, but the record of His earthly ministry also includes His proclamation of the long-awaited kingdom of God in Israel.

The period of Christ’s first advent, (Virgin Birth)  relates to both Israel and the Church but was itself neither Israel nor the Church.

The Dispensation of the Hypostatic Union separates Israel from the Church.

With absolute authority Jesus Christ presented Himself to Israel as the Son of David, the King of Israel, the Messiah, (Mat 4:17).

MAT 4:17   From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

We will also take some time in our study to See that our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled Old Testament prophecy (as in Mat 1:5-6).

He performed miracles which drew attention to Himself as the Savior of mankind and King of the Jews (Mat 4:23-25);

After doing this we are also told that He announced His policy for His kingdom (Mat 5-7).

He explained His identity from Scripture (Mat 11:25-30).

He described His own death on the cross as the “blood of the covenant [the Mosaic Law]” (Mat 26:28; Rom 10:4.

Christ came to fulfill all five divine covenants with Israel—conditional and unconditional alike (Mat 8-9).

Our Lord’s sinless life and respect for human freedom fulfilled the commandments in the Mosaic Law.

His sinlessness and substitutionary death for the sins of mankind were the realities long anticipated by ceremonies in Codex II of the Law.

His love for Israel demonstrates His fulfillment of the establishment laws in Codex III (Mat 22:21).

Only He could perfectly execute the entire Law because He came to fulfill every jot and title of the Law (Mat 5:18) whether or not the Jews accepted Him as their king

Any Jew who would believe in Christ as the Messiah became a beneficiary of all the covenants (Joh 1:12-13).

When our Lord was around 12 years old, He astonished those who were listening to Him in the temple as Jesus Christ stood at a fork in the road of history.

He would no longer be living the spiritual life designed by God the Father which is given to us for our advantage and in reality are just “for us.”

Our Lord had to keep on growing in the wisdom of God just as we are to 2Pe 3;18.

We have a God who gave human volition “to us” and as an option “for us” (Heb 9:13-15).

He proclaimed that the kingdom of God was “at hand,” not that it had actually arrived (Mat 4:17) as the king was present, but the kingdom’s arrival was contingent on the attitude of Israel.

The main question is Would the Jews accept or reject their king?

The question is that after He offered the kingdom to Israel and purchased salvation for all mankind, what would be the next dispensation be?

Would the earthly reign of Christ commence or begun again or would some other system of divine administration begin?

Christ presented the kingdom to Israel as a legitimate offer, even though omniscient God knew in advance that Israel would reject Christ as Messiah (Isa 8:14-15; Rom 9:33).

ISA 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

In eternity past God the Father knew that the Church-Age dispensation would chronologically follow our Lord’s First advent, or His sign of.

God also provides real options and opportunities so that man has genuine freedom of choice.

This is found in the workings of sovereign God where even “the wrath of man shall praise [Him]” (Psa 76:10).

The Bumble Bee and it’s at the crux of the universe — human history—in the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ—the Bible lucidly documents that God extends genuine options to all mankind.

Are you going to face the divine timing as you continue to grow in God or are you to gong to operate and live by the principle of being assigned by the Lord in our grace orientation?

Here is the divine question which is after He offered the kingdom to Israel and purchased salvation for all mankind.

God is free to do whatever He desires to do?

The grace of God toward man not only expresses His love for all of mankind but, it also forces Satan and the fallen angels to remember that God’s infinite goodness was poured out upon the believer and we can expect to learn them.

Divine grace and human responsibility remind Satan again and again that he bears the full blame for his own revolt against God.

Satan will always challenge the grace of God within which all mankind has also the grace of God to bring them blessings.

Human history as the appeal trial of the angelic conflict reveals the essence of God.

Sovereignty = God Has all patience toward mankind in delaying judgment and in granting opportunity which after the opportunity you and I can accept if we desire to accept His grace that cannot go on without them.

Our Lord has discovered that when He returns Christ turned away from unbelieving Israel and Now, the main question is; “Would the Jews accept or reject their king?”

Anxiety becomes soul destruction even when the believer is involved with certain translations which are still aware of.

Sovereign God must ultimately proceed with His perfect sovereign plan as Satan and his fallen angels and human unbelievers will ultimately suffer the full and eternal consequences of the revolution.

The disciples, especially the Fabulous Five, constantly to kept on growing in their letters toward each as well as the Fabulous Five etc.

We need to make known the principle that “Israel was too small to counterbalance the vast majority of the persecution (Mat 13:10-16.”

As the prophet of the Church, our Lord was first to announce the mystery doctrine of the Church-age to His discipline (John 14 and John 15).

Thus, in the Upper Room Discourse our Lord unveiled something entirely new: the protocol plan of God for the Church Age.

This truth taught by Jesus Christ can apply to believers of any dispensation, but there is a difference between a legitimate application from a passage of Scripture and the precise interpretation of that passage.

There may be many edifying applications that greatly benefit believers in a devotional or practical way, but the objective of rigorous scholarship is a precisely accurate interpretation.
1. Christ fulfilled the Old Testament Law and taught His current followers to live apart from legalism.

2. He proclaimed His ruling platform for the millennial kingdom.

3.  He unveiled the plan of God for the Church.
