The doctrine of Election, Part 17. The fulfillment of the predesigned plan of God in time leads to a rich entrance into the eternal kingdom.

Point 8. Election and the Sovereignty of God with the Free Will of Man.

In the divine decrees there is a precreation record of each one of our lives, and it reads either winner or loser, depending upon your decisions.

The sovereignty of God willed for you to be a winner but you can reject His will.

Their first loss is in time. Though they had equal privilege and opportunity at salvation, they failed to fulfill the PPOG.

They are a double loser because, as a result, they do not receive their eternal escrow blessings as well.

Name – “onoma” = fame, reputation, or title – a reference to the loser believer having the title he was elected to have, erased because of his negative decisions in time.

The Christian loser is defined as the Church-age believer in Jesus Christ who, through negative volition toward Bible doctrine, has failed to execute the PPOG for the Church-age.

The loser does not lose his salvation; he only loses his escrow blessings for time and eternity, 1CO 3:11-15.

The Christian loser fails to use the two power options (the filling of the Spirit and metabolization of doctrine) that have been made available.

The loser is the believer in Jesus Christ who has wrong priorities and spends his life in the cosmic system.

The loser has a right pastor, but because of cosmic involvement, he never sees his right pastor, or he only visits occasionally.

In many cases, the loser finds his right pastor but rejects him. Or the loser finds his right pastor and accepts him until he is distracted. Rejection of one’s right pastor is tantamount to rejection of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

Instead of becoming an invisible hero, the loser is bored, dissatisfied, preoccupied with self, arrogant, frustrated, distracted, unstable, and unable to utilize the ten problem-solving devices.

1. The carnal believer, ROM 8:7; 1CO 3:1-3.

2. Prisoner to the law of sin –
ROM 7:23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

3. A wretched believer –
ROM 7:24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

4. Grieving the Holy Spirit, EPH 4:30.
5. Quenching the Spirit, 1TH 5:19.
6. The enemy of the Cross, PHI 3:18.
7. The enemy of God, JAM 4:4.
8. The flawed believer, JAM 1:23-24.
9. The psycho believer or double-minded, JAM 4:8.

Dipseuchos – “double-minded” = wavering, uncertain, doubting, divided in interest between God and the world.

The Christian loser has the option of rebound, which means restoration to fellowship with God, recovery of the filling of the Spirit, and the continuation of the spiritual life.

A. GAL 5:4 “drifting off course from grace.”
B. HEB 12:15“coming short of the grace of God.”

God warns us to never hold grudges because bitterness and resentment always destroy fellowship.

Will you use your energy and emotions for retaliation or for resolution?

Forgiveness is letting go of the past. Trust has to do with future behavior.

If someone hurts you repeatedly, you are commanded by God to forgive them instantly, but you are not expected to trust them immediately, and you are not expected to continue allowing them to hurt you.

C. 2PE 2:7-8 “The tormented soul” 2PE 2:7-8 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds),

D. REV 3:15-16 “The lukewarm believer”.

E. “The shipwrecked believer” – 1TI 1:19 Having doctrine and a good conscience, which some believers have pushed aside, concerning which doctrine they have become shipwrecked.

F. ROM 7:24-25 “Being under the body of death”

The escrow blessings of the loser will remain on deposit forever as a memorial to his failure to utilize the unique assets of the Church-age, to fulfill the will, plan, and purpose of God between his salvation and his departure from this life, whether by death or resurrection.

1. The misery he brings on himself – self-induced or volitional misery.

2. Divine discipline in three categories: warning discipline, intensive discipline, and dying discipline.

Time provides the opportunity for the obligee to attain God’s highest and best under election – under the deposit of the obligor in eternity past.

The fulfillment of the PPOG in time leads to a rich entrance into the eternal kingdom.

The fulfillment of the PPOG in time leads to a rich entrance into the eternal kingdom,
2PE 1:11.

Q. What brings your blessings out of escrow?

A. Stay in the PPOG; quickly rebound to get back in after sinning.
B. Remain under the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.
C. Metabolize the doctrine you learn.

Q. How will you know when you are in spiritual maturity?

You will recognize your spiritual blessings.

1. The conveyance and the transfer of certain blessings in time – “temporal blessings” and “super blessings.”

2. The conveyance and the transfer of certain blessings in eternity – eternal blessings, rewards, decorations and privileges.

Under election, God wills the highest and best for you, but….you can refuse it.

God the Father found a way for His justice to provide perfect fantastic blessing to His righteousness in us, without any compromise of His essence.

In election, God provided everything necessary for the function in life, dying, eternity, growing in grace, and the execution and fulfillment of the PPOG.
