The Doctrine of the Strategical and the Tactical winners. Part 2. The chief witness in all of human history is the humanity of Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union.
Thursday, October 30, 2003
There are two categories of winners in the Christian way of life –
1. The strategic winner.
2. The tactical winner.
Strategical = that which is important or essential in relation to a plan of action.
The effective conduct of war and that which is extremely important to accomplish an intended objective.
Tactical = that relating to combat tactics as involving actions or means of less magnitude or at a shorter distance from a base of operations than those of strategy.
1JO 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. And who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
The tactical winner believer is the one who resides, functions and continues his momentum inside the PPOG.
The fact that every believer is a strategical victor is simply based on the saving work of Christ, and a one-shot decision, they made a positive decision to believe in Christ as their Savior.
It is the hundreds, and even thousands of decisions after salvation that produces the tactical winner.
Nikao = overcome
1JO 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.
Nikao is also translated winner for the tactical winners after salvation, Rev 2-3.
That is the one shot decision to believe in Christ, which produces eternal life.
That one shot decision breaks Satan’s back strategically.
There are two parts to the angelic conflict as it extends into human history:
The strategic side of the angelic conflict and the tactical side of the angelic conflict.
The chief witness in all of human history is the humanity of Jesus Christ in hypostatic union.
Strategic = He came up with a strategy to defeat Satan and executed that plan magnificently and He defeated Satan.
COL 2:14 having cancelled out the certificate of debt which was against us by means of the decrees, and which [certificate of debt] was hostile to us and He [by means of the decrees] has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.
Other witnesses = the invisible heroes who execute the PPOG in the CA and those mature believers during the Tribulation period, classified as tactical witnesses.
ACT 1:8 but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.
Tactical – relating to combat tactics as involving actions or means of less magnitude or at a shorter distance from a base of operations than those of strategy.
Under strategy, our Lord accomplished the strategic victory of the angelic conflict through His salvation ministry on the cross plus His physical death, burial, resurrection and ascension.
Under tactics, the believer accomplishes the tactical victory of the angelic conflict through his advance to spiritual maturity in the PPOG, at this point he becomes an invisible hero.
When our Lord was on the cross, He won the strategic victory, when our Lord returns, there will be the Second Advent and the tactical victory.
Your daily attitude toward Bible doctrine, in both perception and application becomes the tactical victory.
Anyone who believes in Christ is a winner strategically in the angelic conflict – all Christians today, all believers in the Tribulation are strategical victors, but it is the tactical victory that is in view with Bible doctrine.
You can be a strategic winner and a tactical loser.
The importance of application of doctrine to the different momentum tests that every believer must pass before he becomes a winner.
In most generations, like ours, and probably the Tribulational generation, the minority of believers are tactical winners.
Not all believers will be presented in the court of heaven, only those on the honors list, and then at the Second Advent, those who are tactical winners are going to rule a nation in this world.
There are two kinds of winners among believers:
The strategic winner, and the tactical winner.
The strategical winner has eternal life and cannot lose it, and will have a resurrection body in heaven forever and forever.
The tactical winner is going to have much more.
The concept is, RHIP, rank has its privileges, and there is no equality in heaven.
Equality ends with the strategic victory, all believers have the strategic victory by virtue of having accepted Christ as Savior, it is the tactical winners who are going to have higher rank and greater privileges forever, and ever, and ever.
Heaven is a perfect place, and a perfect place is based upon self-determination.
You must be self-motivated from your own self-determination to have a tactical victory.
Holding to a superficial form of the spiritual life is ritual without reality, being exposed to doctrine on a limited basis and thinking that is all you need.
You are to avoid such people as these because these people can have a great influence on your life.
