The Doctrine of Supergrace. Part 10.

Why should I grow up? This is more fun!
The light at the end of the tunnel is usually the headlight of the oncoming train.
People who think they know what they’re doing are especially annoying to those of us who do.
I’m not a creep; I’m actually a wonderful person hiding inside the body of a creep.
I’m not crazy; I’m just a sane person trapped in the body of a lunatic.
They keep saying the right person will come along; I think mine got hit by a truck.
Every time I think I know where it’s at, they move it.
If at first you don’t succeed, redefine success.
You know it’s a bad day when you put your bra on backwards and it fits better.

Whether you make it or not, whether you grow in grace and knowledge, whether you understand that the road to glory is from saving grace at the cross, to living grace, to supergrace, to ultra supergrace, to dying grace and then to surpassing grace.......is not going to change reality.
Whether you ever understand that or not, there is a perfect security for you that you can always depend upon, and that is grace.
J. Vernon McGee’s - 1TI 5:20 Those [members of the congregation] who continue in the sin of receiving or making accusations, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also may be fearful.
Paul mentioned Peter needing to be rebuked in GAL 2:11-14.
He mentioned Euodia and Syntyche, two women who were fighting in the church at Philippi in PHI 4:2.
He mentioned Archippus who was not doing his job as a pastor in COL 4:17.
3JO 1:9 “I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, does not accept what we say.”
Esteem the office, respect the man, and love him impersonally and unconditionally or else you will end up deceived.
Point 8. Supergrace is the objective of the believer after salvation, EPH 3:14-19.
Verse 16 - “that” - hina - introduces a purpose clause.
God has a purpose for us.
God has a plan for us.
God’s purpose and God’s plan demands that He gives to us.
In giving to us, He is glorified.
To ploutos = the abundant supergrace provisions and benefits which flow from the grace of God.
His glory refers to His character, His essence, His perfect person!
That is why the objective of the Christian life is to “reflect” this glory.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit in verse 16 strengthening the inner man is to build a structure in your soul and to establish divine viewpoint as your frame of reference.
Next there are four nouns joined by the Greek conjunction kai but only have one definite article at the beginning.
EPH 3:18 that you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and the length and the height and the depth,
Granville Sharp (an English scholar) rule of interpretation of the use of the Greek article with nouns connected by the conjunction kai.
The four dimensions are all talking about the same thing. They refer to God’s plan, will, and purpose for every Church-age believer.
The four dimensions emphasize the fact that God has provided the means of tactical victory for every believer becoming a winner, an invisible hero.
