How Does God Live In Us? Why God Is Living Within Us.
Theandric Action is the fullness of God’s divine nature overflowing in a human vessel which has surrendered to the plan of God.
Theandric Action is related to changing all of us by the nature of God within us.
Theandric Action means that the divine nature is alive in man.
What the Hypostatic Union was to our Lord, Theandric action is to all of us.
Theandric Action is the only provision whereby Christians are able to manifest the true nature of God within the Body of Christ.
Theandric Action does not mean losing our individuality or creative capacity, nor does it imply that our sin nature can ever be eradicated.
The point is that *** Every believer, including you, is a vessel who has the potential of being just like our Lord because the hardness of man’s heart can be transformed into the gentleness of the divine nature by the power of the Holy Spirit who trains His disciples us through Theandric Action.
Some believers are prepared to live in the power of Theandric Action which means that they are advancing through the power of the Holy Spirit and the word of God and they can have a great impact in their life.
Believers who reject this power of the Spirit have negative volition are becoming vessels unto dishonor.
Therefore, if you make positive decisions through perception, metabolization and application of Bible doctrine, you will add the mind of Christ to your empty vessel.
Therefore, I believe this first miracle was really all about which is:
- The Hypostatic Union.
- Theandric Action.
Most of you are familiar with the Hypostatic Union which refers to God living in man, as undiminished deity and true humanity, in one person forever, namely the Lord Jesus Christ.
On the other hand, Theandric Action means that God is living in every believer who is becoming like God by means of Theandric Action which is “God alive” in man.
In fact, the process of Theandric Action is the only provision whereby Christians are able to manifest the true nature of God in their mortal bodies within the Body of Christ and to a lost and dying world.
This is why I gave you an illustration of this principle of Theandric Action as it is related to changing all of us by the nature of God within us.
Therefore, if the believer makes decisions under perception, metabolization and application of Bible doctrine, he will add the mind of Christ and advanced action to his empty vessel.
And that is one of the main reasons why the Lord Jesus Christ expects us to become honorable vessels rather than a vessel that is filled with lies, arrogance, jealousy, envy and hatred for other vessels.
But that is just the beginning, because our Lord wants us to become just like Him without manipulating us to do so.
Through Theandric Action the new man is being renewed because of God living in man.
The first word is the Greek noun “spirit” which is the noun pneuma which has many meanings for us to understand such as spirit, breath, wind, breathe.
With this we also have the Greek noun nous which means mind, thinking, soul, mentality.
It has to do with 2TI 3:16 when it says, “All Scripture is inspired by God [or literally God-breathe] and it is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
And this leads us to one of the secret privileges that the Lord reveals to man and what I believe the first miracle was really all about which is:
- The Hypostatic Union – God living in man as deity and true humanity.
- Theandric Action – also means that man is becoming like God.
The Hypostatic Union refers to God living in man, as undiminished deity and true humanity, in one person forever, namely the Lord Jesus Christ.
Theandric Action is the other side of God living in man which means man is becoming like God through Theandric Action.
Ever since the beginning of the Church, Christians have struggled with the dilemma of representing the infinite God to finite mankind through vessels of clay or through the Temple of God in man’s physical body.
In this way, infinite God is able to teach finite man so that man can understand what our God has to say to fallen man.
This is because, God can use the failures of man to reveal Theandric Action or God living in man even when man fails.
Adam lost and failed to rule the earth.
Noah got drunk.
Sarah was impatient.
Jacob was a cheater.
Moses lacked confidence and stuttered.
Miriam was a gossiper.
Elijah was moody.
Zacchaeus had the Napoleon curse of being short.
Peter had a temper.
King David had affairs and committed murder.
Jonah tried to run from God.
Thomas was a doubter.
Martha was a worrier (not warrior).
Paul was a murderer.
Gideon was insecure.
PSA 130:3-4, If Thou, Lord, shouldst mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with Thee, That Thou mayest be respected or feared.
Theandric Action is why we noted what Peter said in 2PE 1:2-4, especially 2PE 1:4 that we might become partakers of {the} divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the Cosmic system through lust.
Theandric Action is the fullness of God’s divine nature in the mind and the heart of every human vessel which has surrendered to the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] to fulfill their PSD [their personal sense of destiny.
