Drawing near to Christ to fulfill the Plan of God.
Wednesday, November 5, 2008
Abraham had eight sons from 3 different women but he left all that he had to only one son and that was Isaac to inherit the promises and blessings of God.
The Bible teaches that ultimately parents have nothing to do with the spiritual promotion or the failures of their children in life, and vice versa.
EZE 18:20 “The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the parent bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.”
GAL 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
You will never be able to blame anyone or any circumstances for your success or failure in the plan of God. According to the will of God the Father, whoever takes the Son “GETS IT ALL.”
The ALL that you can receive is based upon the grace of God and your fulfillment of His election.
Equal privilege and equal opportunity in election means that God has given you His highest and best and the means to achieve that by grace.
It is the desire of God to transfer the very glory of the Lord Jesus Christ directly to you; not only in position but in lifestyle or experience.
2 Co 3:17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
The mature believer doesn’t look upon the flesh but the Spirit, the Word, and he executes the plan to fulfill his personal sense of destiny.
If you attempt to live your life as a believer without a close personal relationship with your Lord you will never fulfill the Father’s election.
Draw near to His word, HEB 10:22
Metabolization of the word of God will clean your conscience from evil thinking, which is independence from God.
Draw near through rebound, REV 3:19-20.
JOH 15:15 “No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
He is the vine and you and I are the branches and so we must go and bear much fruit, therefore fulfilling our election.
No theology will ever fully explain God and His ways because God is infinitely and eternally higher than we are.
