Eagles fly...Prairie chickens wonder why.

HEB 2:4 “God [Father] also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various works of power, and by various distributions [of spiritual gifts] from the Holy Spirit in accordance with His will.”

EPH 4:7 “To each one of us, this grace has been given according to the measure of the spiritual gift from Christ. Therefore, it [Old Testament Scriptures] says, ‘When He ascended into heaven, He led a host of captives in a triumphal procession from a state of captivity, and He gave spiritual gifts to men.’”

You are not better or worse than anyone else by virtue of your spiritual gift.

Gideon inevitably gathers a fighting force of 32,000 men to face a superior force in numbers of 135,000 Midianites.

God cuts down Gideon’s army to a mere 300 men.

JOH 6:60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?”

To keep on searching for.....To keep on pursuing.....To keep on endeavoring to obtain.....To keep on investigating........To keep on examining....And to keep on desiring to possess.

God has called us to be a Christian Soldier.

A Christian Soldier whose motto should be: “To seek and serve and to seek and save.”

Today most Christians can be classified in the category of “prairie chickens.” Eating less, eating the bugs and the grubs and the insects of life, settling for something less when they could have had so much more.

Be of sober spirit; be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

EPH 6:11... Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
EPH 6:16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

1TI 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

2TI 2:3,4 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

EPH 6:14 “Hold your ground”
JAM 4:7 “Submit therefore to God [execute the PPOG]. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
1PE 5:9 “But resist the devil by being firm in your doctrine”

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired and vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.

WHY THAT BIRD THERE.... THAT IS AN EAGLE... THE CHIEF OF THE BIRDS...... Forget about it friend... don’t give it a second thought....... you could never be like him.
