In the strife of the battle of life
It’s easy to fight when you’re winning;
it’s easy to slave, and starve and be brave,
When the dawn of success is beginning.

But the man who can meet despair and defeat With a cheer,
there’s the man of God’s choosing;
The man who can fight to Heaven’s own height
Is the man who can fight when he’s losing.

HEB 12:2 “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where he was headed”

that exhilarating finish in and with God–He could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now He’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.

They traded in their glory for shame,
PHI 3:19.

Drunk on sex, they can’t find their way home. They’ve replaced their God with their genitals. (TMB)

PHI 3:10, after thirty years of intimate fellowship with, and knowledge of Him he could still say,
PHI 3:10 “that I may come to know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;”

At the moment of salvation, the result of the work of TLJC on the cross is that His resurrection life is received already by those of us who have believed.

But while that life is itself victorious, incorruptible, indestructible, the believer has to come by faith to prove it, to live by it, to learn its laws, and to be conformed to it.

Paul said that the first intent or purpose after understanding grace orientation at salvation is PHI 3:10 “that I may come to know Him,”

“and the power of [behind] His resurrection.”
“and the fellowship of His sufferings,”
“being conformed to His death;”

There is a deposit of the Divine nature in every believer, which in itself needs no addition, so far as its quality of life is concerned.

We have that element of time involved in not only getting to “know Him” but also in learning how to appropriate His word, and then allowing God the necessary time to work that appropriation of our faith into our everyday walk.

The Lord is glorified in a people whose heart is set at any cost to continue on the path, that narrow road that leads to life, upon the goal which is God Himself.

MAT 7:14 “For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.”

Mohammed, Buddha, Confucius, Jesus Christ:

LUK 22:69 “…the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

EPH 1:20 God raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly {places},

EPH 2:6 He raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly {places}, in Christ Jesus,

On the Passover He was slaughtered as our spotless Passover lamb. As in Egypt, His blood was placed over us to protect us and shield us from the judgment of God. Then Christ conquered sin – and death itself – by rising again.

1CO 15:5-10, Peter saw Him after He rose from the dead, then the other ten apostles, after that more than five hundred brethren, than James, and than Paul.

He has broken the power of death and sin over our lives!

Through Him, each of us can escape God’s wrath and live forever.

Billions of people through the centuries have had their lives changed by the living power or the power of His resurrection life of Jesus Christ, and to this day, His resurrection power heals and restores and gives new life.

That’s life, that’s what all the people say.
You’re riding high in April,
Shot down in May
But I know I’m gonna change that tune,
When I’m back on top, back on top in June.
I said that’s life, and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks,
Stompin’ on a dream

But I don’t let it, let it get me down,
‘Cause this fine ol’ world it keeps spinning around
I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I’ve been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself, flat on my face,
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

PRO 24:16 “For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in {time of} calamity.”

That’s life
I tell ya, I can’t deny it,
I thought of quitting baby,
But my heart just ain’t gonna buy it.
And if I didn’t think it was worth one single try,
I’d jump right on a big bird and then I’d fly
I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I’ve been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:

Each time I find myself laying flat on my face,
I just pick myself up and get back in the race
That’s life and I can’t deny it
Many times I thought of cutting out
But my heart wouldn’t buy it
But if there’s nothing shakin’ come this here July
I’m gonna roll myself up in a big ball and die

The power of His resurrection life gives the ability to handle any situation in life.
What Life?
The power of His Resurrection life.
