Election in Christ in the midst of corruption.

“us” - first person plural pronoun hemas = us, meaning that every believer is elected.
“in Him” - en autos = referring to union with Christ as the celebrity of the universe. He alone is the isolated source of true election.
“before the foundation of the world” - pro kataboles kosmou = before God made the foundation for the world system, i.e. eternity past.
kataboles literally means to throw down or lay down. It describes the act of the transcendent God throwing down a material universe into space that had no existence before.
HEB 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
kosmos (world) means an apt and harmonious arrangement or constitution, order. The kosmos was not created formless and void.
JOB 38:7 When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
EZE 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx, and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise, and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared.
chaos - unformed matter. It spoke of darkness, a vast gulf or chasm, a pit, the nether abyss.
Satan’s real brainchild is the corruption of God’s kosmos after the fall with emphasis on religion -
“your seed.”
Cosmic 1: Satan’s attitude at his pre-historic fall, before the fall of Adam which emphasizes arrogance and preoccupation with self.
Cosmic 2: Satan’s attitude after the fall of Adam, which emphasizes Satan’s propaganda and indoctrination college to educate and promote antagonism toward anything related to God, especially the grace of God.
Right now, the kosmic system is under its strongest corruption in human history and it has all been designed to rob you of the realization of your election in Christ.
Election of the CA believer is a truth proclaimed in eternity past, before the kosmos of God and before the corruption of that kosmos by the anti-Christ, anti-grace, worship lusting creature satan.
