Faith in the invisible hero. Pastor Joe Sugrue.

Once the new doctrines are truly believed by the Christian, then a hope, a confident expectation of future blessings, is realized.

Now the believer is ready to love with the love of God. His relaxed mental attitude and confidence in God allow him to love with the very love that Jesus Christ possessed in His first Advent.

JOH 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

JOH 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Will you believe the mystery doctrines of the church age?
Will you develop confidence by applying those doctrines to your personal life?
Will you then develop a love that totally loses the self life?

God sets before you abundant life or death, the choice is yours. Faith, hope and love.

The Jews had a plan of shadows, a plan that looked forward to the Cross, but now the Cross is a reality and the true faith has come.

With the new commandments comes a new faith, a faith that has to be grounded in unbelievable things.

JOH 15:13-14 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends, if you do what I command you.

He never says, “never fail, never fall”, but He does command us to hold His commands dear, to guard them as precious.

The Galatians, were beneficiaries of the grace of God that came to the gentiles after the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.

COL 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

We received grace and then we stand in that grace, forever. We are not to receive the grace of God and then step out of the grace of God into the works of the Law.

First faith, then hope and then love. All by means of the grace of God where the Shekinah glory is working out from within you.

Reconciliation means that God is now satisfied with us, completely and totally.

DEU 28:58-59 “If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the LORD your God, then the LORD will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, even severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.

1CO 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha.

We don’t follow a law, we follow Christ. He is the fulfillment of the Law, He is all and in all and we are not to concentrate on do’s and don’ts, but we are to concentrate on Him, and let Him who indwells us as the Shekinah glory manifest His glory through us.

GAL 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
