Fear will torment you and punish you. Part 10.

Friday, September 30, 2011

Fear is not only an emotional sin, but Fear is also a mental attitude sin.

The Battle is in the Soul.

The greatest battles in history are not overt battlefields where men die; the greatest battlefield is what takes place in your soul.

ECC 9:14 There was a small city with few men in it and a great king came to it, surrounded it, and constructed large siegeworks against it.
ECC 9:15 But there was found in it a poor wise man and he delivered the city by his wisdom. Yet no one remembered that poor man.

MAT 5:42 “Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.”
GAL 6:10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

PSA 37:21 The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.
ECC 9:15 But there was found in it a poor wise man and he delivered the city by his wisdom. Yet no one remembered that poor man.

As you live in this life, barking at your heels is a very loud and powerful king.

A great and powerful king is surrounding you and doing his best to construct a siege or a fortress against it to stop you from going forward in the plan of God and hinder your spiritual growth.
He is called your adversary, the devil in 1PE 5:8.

1. Human ability cannot solve the problem of fear and guarantee true success, verses 11-12.

ECC 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, verily, do {it} with all your might; – that doesn’t necessarily mean that if you do… everything is going to work out fine…
ECC 9:11 I again saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, and the battle is not to the warriors, and neither is bread to the wise, nor wealth to the discerning, nor favor to men of ability; for time and chance overtake them all.

Human ability cannot guarantee true success.

The king [your adversary the devil, the king of this world] won’t tell you that.

PRO 21:31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But victory belongs to the Lord.
