Fear will torment you and punish you. Part 6.

Sunday, September 18, 2011

Fear is also a sin of emotion.

It all started in the Garden of Eden when Satan brought on the principle of fear.

Marriage for the Christian is the most difficult and challenging place for more fear and failures in the Christian life than anything else.

EPH 5:22-25, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;

1CO 11:8-9, For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; for indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but woman for the man’s sake.

Even though it is so designed by God it is the believer who succumbs to fear and arrogance who so often fails in marriage and in relationships with the opposite sex because of living in the fear of failure in the past and unrealistic expectation.

Many marriages fail because they have believed the lie motivated by fear which is simply a failure of the their part in the spiritual life.

Just as when you were born physically you had to grow up before you could face anything in life and take responsibility for your own decisions.

Marriage puts two people, a man and a woman in confined quarters.

But, as it progresses, it retrogresses.

What was hidden by attractiveness and the desire for unfulfilled fantasies it soon appears… and that is the real person.

Marriage should be the beginning of love not the end of love.

Today MOST MARRIAGES are the end of love instead of the beginning.

Satan always uses an agent or agents to represent him and his evil policy.
Serpent – nachash = to hiss, to whisper and to be bright.
Satan says, “I must approach this woman but not frighten her”… remember he always uses an agent.

This is why Satan himself is called the old serpent, the tempter or deceiver in REV 12:9.

2CO 11:3 but I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

Satan’s greatest weapon is a conversation because Satan is the greatest genius that ever came from the hand of God.

was more crafty – aruwm = cunning, crafty, smarter, clever, and subtle.
