“So” – adverb houtos = refers to what will happen because they are not hot or cold.
“So because” -conjunction hoti = causes us to face the reality of the situation
Pres-act-ind – eimi = you keep on being.
Lukewarm – chliaros = something that was hot but has now cooled off.
Verse 16 – pres-act-ind – mello = “about to”
“I am about to do something,” says the Lord.
This is a customary present tense which denotes what habitually occurs when believers persist in living in the cosmic system of Satan.
All divine discipline is a gracious act on the part of God to try to teach us what we will not learn or refuse to learn the easy way.
Some people can only learn when they hurt.
Futuristic present – denoting an event which has not yet occurred, namely the administration of the sin unto death, but is regarded as being presently certain.
The active voice: the Lord Jesus Christ produces the action of the verb as the prince ruler of the Church.
God the Father has turned all the judgment over to the Lord Jesus Christ, JOH 5:22; JOH 5:27.

All of us have problems, but our problems are generally for our own benefit if we are living in God’s plan for our life.

God always picks the things that will hurt you the most so that you will have motivation to repent.
The believer who dies the sin unto death misses the blessings of God for life, misses living in resurrection life in time, and the blessings beyond ultra-supergrace and then ultra-sanctification for eternity.
Point 1. Definition and Description.
When a person is under the sin unto death, they are under the Judgment of the Supreme Court of Heaven and everything has been done from the righteousness of God to condemn their failure, to the justice of God who judged it, to the love of God who provided the solution as expressed in grace – but they have refused it.
Pros + the accusative of relationship = “face-to-face with death,” not “leading to death.”
“The sin terminating with death.”
The sin terminating in death is the sin of not executing the spiritual life of the Church-age after years of warnings from the integrity and love of God.
God has never made a judgment of anyone that excludes the love of God.
The sin face-to-face with death is maximum divine discipline from the integrity of God.
The sin face-to-face with death does not come all at once, but in segments.
While you are still dying, you can still sin. It is the sins that intensify the suffering in dying.

The sin unto death is not one particular sin but it is a reference to sinning when you are in the death-shadowed valley of PSA 23:4.
The sin face-to-face with death is you creating for yourself your very own dying misery in the death-shadowed valley God has provided for you.
The grace of God challenges the believer to deploy the problem solving devices on the FLOT line of the soul, so that you can travel through your own death-shadowed valley with the most fantastic blessings, PHI 1:21; PSA 23:4.
a. Dying grace is given to mature or advancing believers. It is the greatest blessing of life because it is directly related to and is only exceeded by rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ, PSA 116:15; PHI 1:21.
PHI 1:21 For me, living is Christ, likewise dying is profit.
b. A second category of death or means of leaving this world is transfer to heaven apart from death, ex: Enoch,HEB 11:5; Elijah, 2KI 2:11-12.
HEB 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God.
