Skandelon = a trap or a stumbling block, a snare, an offense, a thing that offends, any impediment placed in the way and causing one to stumble or fall.
PRO 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm.
2CO 12:15 the more you grow spiritually, the less company you begin to keep.
2TI 3:5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such individuals as these.

Separation from unbelievers inside the cosmic system, 2CO 6:14-17.
Separation is also important in social life, JER 15:16-17; 1PE 4:3-4.

ROM 14:13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this – not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s way.
ROM 14:21 It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or {to do anything} by which your brother stumbles.
1CO 8:9 But take care lest this liberty of yours somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
Eidoluthos = “to eat things sacrificed to idols, to eat heathen sacrifices.”
Fornication refers to any kind of sexual activity outside the divine institution of marriage.
As an expression of category 2 love, sex is both legitimate and beautiful for it expresses the coalescence of body and soul between two people.
The married woman is the property of one man and fornication in contrast was the seduction of another man’s property.
You will not commit adultery, EXO 20:14, DEU 5:18.
Voyeurism = obtaining sexual gratification from seeing sex organs and sexual acts.
MAT 5:28 but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
The Phallic cult is the promotion of all kinds of sexual activity: 2CO 12:21; EPH 4:19; EPH 5:5, COL 3:5; REV 2:14, 20-23.
COL 3:5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
EPH 4:19 and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.
EPH 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Phallic reversionism was forbidden by God to Israel: EXO 20:3,23, 23:24; DEU 4:28; DEU 5:7; DEU 6:14; DEU 7:16; DEU 8:19.
The Phallic cult originated with the Canaanites and posed a real threat to the Jews as they entered into the promise land.
1. Immorality of all kinds, LEV 18:3-25, e.g, fornication, cultic prostitution, homosexuality, etc.
2. Idolatry related to the Phallic cult always includes human sacrifice, LEV 20:1-5.
Emotion was very important for the perpetuation of the Phallic cult or excessive sexual activity.
3. The Phallic cult also included frenzied group sex, LEV 20:1-5.
4. Demonism, LEV 20:6.
5. Rejection of authority through no self-control, LEV 20:9.
6. Spiritual, social, and cultural degeneracy, LEV 20:10-23.
7. Bestiality and incest, LEV 20:14-21.
8. Masturbation, DEU 12:29-31.
9. Merchandising feminine beauty, revealing certain parts of the female body, EZE 16:15 calls “every passer-by who might be willing.”
10. Excessive use of alcohol and drugs and the promotion of nudity among the sexes, HAB 2:15-16.
Idolatry and the Phallic cult were responsible for the downtrend of client nation Israel, ISA 2:8, 18-20, 21:9, 36:18-20, 37:12-19; JER 3:6-11; JER 2:27-30; JER 7:17-20; JER 17:1-4; EZE 6:4-6.
Devoted attachment to, or extravagant admiration for, a person, principle, or thing.
Webster’s Ninth New College Dictionary:
a cult is a great devotion to a person, idea, or thing, (especially), such devotion regarded as literary or intellectual fad or mania.
New Jews are now entering a land where the phallic cult has its headquarters and they were going to face the Canaanites.
