The Fruit of the Spirit manifested by the Salvation Ministry of God the Holy Spirit at the moment of Salvation. Part 7.

The nominative singular feminine noun chrestotes which means kindness, graciousness, generosity, and sensitivity to others. “Chrestotes” refers to being gracious and operating in grace orientation.

For if you cannot have grace orientation toward yourself, how can you ever have grace orientation toward others.

The believer never forgets where they came from and always is grateful and thankful to God for where they’re going.

EPH 2:12 “Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”

Many of God’s people forget the principles behind JOH 8:7 “He who is without sin among you, let him {be the} first to throw a stone at her.”

They didn’t give the woman her privacy; they brought her before the crowd and our Lord.

PSA 109:4 In return for my love they act as my accusers;

We have the scribes and pharisees who symbolize those who judge and make accusations against others.

The shattered spiritual life which rejects the head of the body and the joint that the head has assigned them to, whose trend is toward self-righteousness, will begin to judge others.

Fragmented believers become preoccupied with the sins and failures of others, whether they are real or imagined.

They had to spy on the woman and invade her privacy to catch her in the very act.

EPH 4:14 As a result, we are no longer to be spiritual morons who fall apart, unstabilized,

Driven out of control by every wind of false teaching, by the trickery of cosmic recruiters, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;

Making this woman stand before the crowd demonstrates the terrible vindictiveness of the scribes and pharisees.

They called him “rabbi” which is a respectful vocative used for a teacher, but they said it in great sarcasm.

ACT 13:45 but when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul,

ACT 17:5 but the Jews becoming jealous took along some wicked men from the market place and formed a mob and set the city in an uproar.

DEU 22:13-30 commands that both male and female adulterers were to be tried, and if found guilty, they could be stoned to death.

They were not really interested in justice, but sought revenge against this woman and wanted to discredit our Lord’s ministry.

What is important is the fact that he ignored them because of their motivation of arrogance and self-righteousness.

By stooping down, TLJC separated Himself from their attitude as evil judges.

The pharisees see themselves as being absolutely right and the woman as being totally wrong.

He deals with the worst sinners first.

He neither condoned moral degeneracy nor immoral degeneracy.

We have a woman who knows she has failed and is guilty.

Then there is the another group of individuals who consider themselves to be righteous and beyond reproach.

True these scribes and pharisees can appear righteous before men, however, in the eyes of TLJC they are the guilty party.

In phariseeism and self righteousness, the leaders are usually the worst ones.

Their silent withdrawal and their rocks left un-thrown revealed they were guilty as well.

Prin – The religious leaders were unbelievers, and in their sarcasm they called Jesus “Rabbi.” the woman called him “kurios or Lord.”
