The genius of God in the angelic conflict manifesting His grace toward fallen man, Part 26.

Sunday, November 10, 2002

It is His grace being manifested to us that brings glory to Him in the angelic conflict, and that is why there is such an attack upon the grace of God.

In choosing the plan of God at salvation through faith in Christ, regenerate mankind becomes positionally superior to angels through the baptism of the Spirit and resultant positional sanctification, Heb 1.

The born-again regenerate member of the human race is now positionally higher than angels, since we are in union with Christ who is now seated at the right hand of the Father and higher than angels.

Leitourgikos pneumata = “ministering spirits.” Leitourgikos = beneficent, liturgic, relating to the performance of service employed in ministering. Pneumata = spirits, angels.

Sent out - pres-mid-part - apostelloo = to order one to go to a place appointed, to send out on a mission.

Render service - diakonia = to be a servant, an aid, someone who helps and ministers to you.

The invisible heroes are unknown in terms of human history but are well-known in terms of the angelic community who are watching them.

ROM 5:6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

Turn to 1PE 1:10

Long - epithumeo = to have a desire for something, long for, set the heart upon, rubber neck and go out of your way to observe something.

In order to understand Gods grace to the maximum, they have to study the objects of maximum grace - fallen, depraved, unworthy, spiritually dead members of the human race.

They see something which teaches them something about God which they could never see in measure in heaven as they can see on earth - the grace and mercy of God toward undeserving and unworthy creatures.

EXO 33:18

The glorification of God by means of the Church occurs when the believer attains spiritual adulthood and moves to spiritual maturity, EPH 3:20-21.

Stage 1. Spiritual self-esteem is confidence in your relationship with God, GAL 4:19, Christ being formed in your body [soul structure].

Stage 2. Spiritual autonomy is cognitive independence, EPH 3:17, where Christ is said to be at home in your hearts or right-lobes.

Stage 3. Spiritual maturity is cognitive invincibility, when you are manufactured into an invisible hero, PHI 1:20, Christ exalted or glorified in your body.

Anything God does results in His glorification. God does not depend on us for His pleasure or His glory.

God does not depend on us for His pleasure and glory, but instead He expresses His pleasure and glory toward us.

Because God is to be glorified you and I are to be the recipients of His blessings and divine provisions.

God is not glorified by our system of human works but is glorified by meeting our every need.

ISA 26:15 Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, Thou hast increased the nation, Thou art glorified;

ISA 60:21 Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.

PSA 50:15 And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will glorify Me.
