Giving thanks is simple.

In Christ Jesus.
We have an incredible inheritance in Christ.
We are kings and He is the King of kings.
In Christ we have all our sins paid for.
He created all things, so whatever things in the created world you are thankful for tonight, you can thank Him!
Jesus Christ controls history.
So many times when Paul gives thanks it is for the Royal Family, and the Royal Family is courtesy of its Head, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our reconciliation was accomplished through Jesus Christ and His spiritual death on the cross.
Predestination and election means God has a perfect plan to conform you to the image of His perfect Son.
The entire mystery doctrine of the Church Age comes courtesy of our Lord Jesus Christ; it is His mind. We have deity living inside us!
Whatever treasure, whatever wisdom, whatever knowledge you are thankful for tonight, it is all because of Him and in fact in Him.
We can be so thankful that God is who He is: just, righteous, loving, sovereign, eternal life, immutable, truthful, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. And all that is in Christ, because Christ is in the God-head.
Any claims against us He took care of through expiation and propitiation.
2CO 11:3 But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
