JAM 1:17  Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.

We may vary or change like the shadows of wind-tossed trees, but His generosity remains constant; even when we turn away from Him, down from heaven comes an endless stream of acceptance and grace.

Overwhelmed at God’s flood of blessings, Paul once said   “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!, 2CO 9:15.
Certainly, the epitome of God’s greatest gift is TLJC.

Within Jesus’ fragile frame, undiminished deity and true humanity existed together as God’s supreme gift of grace to us, a gift too wonderful for words!

JOH 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

JER 29:13 ‘And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

MAT 7:7  “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.

God’s Christmas gift to mankind is two-fold, the Living Word, and the Written Word.

Consider the odds of the prophecy of the cross in the Jewish Bible, being fulfilled by the Lord Jesus Christ.

The prophecy of the blood on 2 sides of the door-posts and under the door.

EXO 12:7  “Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.”

1CO 5:7  “For Christ our passover also has been sacrificed.”

NUM 21:9  “And Moses made a bronze serpent and set in on the standard; and it came about, that if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.”

This was fulfilled by The Lord Jesus Christ in JOH 3:14; JOH 12:32, HEB 12:2.

HEB 12:2  “Looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

This was fulfilled throughout the gospels when they nailed His hands and feet to the cross. MAT 27:31, MAR 15:24.
