Why God made us like He did. Part 3.

Sunday, August 30, 2009

1. Knowing the angelic conflict.
2. Knowing the glorification of God.
3. Knowing no man after the flesh.
4. Others
5. Bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

It’s as simple as that unless you live in the three arrogant skills: self-justification, self-deception, self-absorption.

So, we have been answering the question why did God create you or why the creation of man?

David in PSA 8:4-6, and this is actually used as some divine sarcasm from the writer to the so-called Jewish scholars of his day.

“Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way?”

GEN 1:27-28, And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

GEN 1:28, And God blessed THEM; and God said to THEM, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

“Son of man” refers to descendants of Adam, not to Christ, though the term “son of man” generally does refer to Christ.

Concern =
pres-mid-ind,
episkepte
which means to go and see the sick or to relieve those who are sick.
It was used for doctors making house calls thereby helping their patients.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the great physician who made house calls to the sick spiritually,

MAT 9:12, But when He heard this [the  Pharisees saying to His disciples, “why is your Teacher eating with the tax-gatherers and prostitutes]?

He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”

MAR 2:17, Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Man’s fall did not win the conflict for Satan, nor did it set God’s plan back, it actually sent it forward into the greater gear of “grace,”
DEU 23:5.

ROM 5:20, And the Law came in that the transgression might increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

In verse 7, we actually have a reference to the first Adam who failed and in verse 8 we have the last Adam who succeeded.

This is a reference to the resurrection of Jesus Christ whereby all angelic creatures, including fallen angels, are subordinated to Him “in His humanity”.

In His deity, Jesus Christ is the creator of angels but, in His humanity, He was made lower than angels, HEB 2:7.

1CO 15:45-49, describes only 2 members of the human race who came into the world under conditions of perfection without an O.S.N.

The first Adam, who fell and lost it all.

And the last Adam, who regained it back and provided salvation.

The only way man becomes superior to angels is through  the Lord Jesus Christ who is seated at the right hand of God the Father.

EPH 2:6, And [He - God the Father] raised us up with Him [Jesus Christ], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.

This is why Satan has deceived the church from the real meaning of regeneration, especially the baptism of the Spirit.

So, every believer is superior to angels, some day experientially we will also be greater.

PHI 3:21 and 1CO 15:53 teaches that our resurrected body is greater than angels which is why the church is the first to go up in the rapture to receive their resurrected bodies at the bema seat judgment.

DEU 32:4 “The rock! His work is perfect, for all his ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He.”

“crowned”

stephanoo which is

meaning to adorn with an honorary crown, to receive the approval of God.

1. It saved mankind!
2. It got back the crown that Adam lost.

Taste is used because the first Adam tasted the fruit and died spiritually, the last Adam tasted death and we live eternally.
