This conflict will destroy their spiritual life and hinder their spiritual advance.
1) Self-solution – the ladies can resolve it themselves.
“to live in harmony” = toV [to] au*toV [auto] = the same + pres/act/inf – froneivn [phronein] = to think objectively
With the departure of objectivity comes hypersensitivity as well as subjectivity.
You develop stronger hypersensitivity, plus self-justification.
pres/act/inf – phroneo = to think objectively, or to think the same viewpoint.
e*n [en] = in kurivw/ [kurio] = by means of the Lord.
PHI 4:2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to be having the same viewpoint or to think objectively by means of the Lord.
Our stability many times is dependent on associations that we have.
“Hold fast” = a call to spiritual stability.
COL 3:17 “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
COL 3:23 “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
PHI 4:3 Indeed, true comrade, I ask you also to help these women who have shared my struggle in the cause of the gospel,
There is great stability in unity and peace, standing together against a common enemy.

They had the mind of Christ, PHI 2:3-5, but they were not objectively thinking with the mind of Christ.
