He file = an open window which describes one's outlook or perspective in life and in this file I have entitled it "the tattooed Christian file."
Howreeney = Teach me = the main verb which is yarah which means to flow continuously, to be (pardon my expression) repetitious, or to lay foundations by means of repeating.
PHI 3:1 "Delight yourselves in the Lord and continue to rejoice that you are in Him. To keep writing to you [over and over] the same things is not a problem with me because it is a precaution or safety for you.
PHI 3:1 Finally, my brethren, keep on having inner happiness in the Lord. Keep on having inner happiness. On the one hand, to be writing the same doctrines to you is not troublesome to me, while on the other hand, it is a safeguard or a basis of security for you.
He is now seventy years old giving us this advice and he is about to die and he says "I shall always be ready" because he was a prepared communicator of doctrine.
A pastor who truly loves the Lord Jesus Christ and who truly loves his congregation will go against the grain and will repeat, repeat and repeat.
Inculcation means to press upon the mind through frequent repetition. It means to indoctrinate or to ingrain, it also means to drill it in to someone or hammer it in mentally.
Repetition of doctrine is the only way of teaching an entire congregation of believer's who are at different levels of spiritual growth.
Repetition of doctrine is necessary for converting gnosis (knowledge) into epignosis (wisdom).
When a person is newly saved he discovers right away that the Bible has many repetitions, e.g. the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, etc., and also repeated verses found throughout the Bible!
"If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true" (John 5:31).
The Bible is the collection of forty different writers who came from a wide variety of backgrounds and across a time period that exceeds 1,500 years, yet they continue to state a single message.
As long as you have positive volition toward doctrine and you listen carefully and concentrate under the ministry of God the Holy Spirit, something new always breaks through.
Statutes - (21) represents the word not as a whole, but the words in one's soul engraved or inscribed and therefore a part of the edification complex of the soul or what is known as the soul structure.
And I shall observe [natsar - apply] it to the end.
In PSA 119:34 he writes, Give me understanding [seven times], that I may observe Thy law [25 times], And keep it with all my heart .
If teaching gives discernment under the He' file it gives you spiritual perception.
Only Teaching protects the believer from deception.
1. Satan and his kingdom of darkness sows tares with the wheat while the believer sleeps, MAT 13:25, not a literal sleep but a spiritual sleep.
2TI 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires;
GAL 6:3, For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
JER 48:11, "Moab has been at ease since his youth; He has also been undisturbed on his lees, Neither has he been emptied from vessel to vessel, Nor has he gone into exile. Therefore he retains his flavor, And his aroma has not changed.
JAM 1:22, But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
EPH 5:14, For this reason it says, [ISA 51:17; 52:1] "Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you."
1. He sows tares with the wheat while the believer sleeps, MAT 13:25, not a literal sleep but a spiritual sleep.
2. He entices people with the bait of pleasure, lustful sensuality and self importance i.e., produces independence and pride;JAM 3:15.
JAM 3:15, This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.
3. He always accuses the brethren, REV 12:10, morning, noon, and night.
JUD 1:9, But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."
4. He tries to separate you from your pastor teacher then your local assembly, EPH 4:17-18.
Cockatrice = a viper that would thrust out the tongue and hiss -look- ISA 59:5.
5. He tries to get people to live in youthful lusts with the remaining young syndrome, 2TI 2:22; ECC 12:1.
When some are being tempted in areas of success and pleasure so when they hear a convicting message they say it's condemnation and works PRO 16:31.
6. Satan also tries to get the believer to be accountable to no one, 1CO 12:21.
7. If he can't get to you he will get to a loved one who is close to you, or someone who you must always be near.
Some suffer because of association, 1CO 5:9; 15:33; 2TH 3:14.
When believers have a heart to work and a mind to work, NEH 4:6, Satan will work to try and stop them; NEH 4:6-8.
In NEH 4:8 he gets his conspiracy program going which he has been organizing and keeps files on for months.
During the "governmental doctrine months," there had been all kinds of subtle attacks.
PSA 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.
ACT 5:38-39, "And so in the present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action should be of men, it will be overthrown; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God."
How can God give man understanding?
His true best friend who had doctrine whose name was Elihu said in JOB 32:7 "I thought age should speak, And increased years should teach wisdom.
JOB 32:8, "But it is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.
Experience is a good teacher but doctrine is a better one!
JOB 32:8 goes along with 2TI 3:16 ------ All scripture is God-breathed and there is as Elihu said in JOB 32:8 "A spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.
He was literally saying "Cause me to have discernment and (the results) I shall keep Thy law."
Shall keep means I will guard and protect your word in my life!
The word observe is shamar and in the Hebrew stem i says I will be caused to put a hedge around your word in my life with my whole heart.
Testimonies means to testify i.e., theandric action which means to bear witness of God's law revealed in man, to be a living epistle.
The word to establish means to make me firm under pressure.
Reproach cherpah - a shameful, disgraceful, sexual act.
1. Always remember that justice not love is our point of contact with God.
2. It's being quickened with God's righteousness not our own i.e., key to victory in human race.
3. God cannot tolerate anything less than perfect righteousness therefore we are COL 2:10.
