The 21th letter of the Hebrew alphabet which is Shin which looks like this in the Hebrew v = the tooth and the principle of eating and therefore spiritual metabolism.
The molar tooth is a tooth having a wide and expansive biting surface adapted for grinding and breaking down the food we eat into pieces for swallowing and metabolizing what is being eaten.
The number three is involved with our natural teeth as well as our spiritual teeth which is why the letter shin v is a perfect analogy to chewing and eating doctrine.
JER 15:16 Thy words were found and I ate them, And Thy words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
JER 3:15 “Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.”
JOB 23:12 “I have not departed from the command of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”
PRO 30:8 Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion,
PSA 119:103 How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
EZE 3:3 And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your stomach, and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth.
Shin has also its traditional meaning of the Cosmic Fire or the Fiery Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
This Fire or Shin is the dynamic power in the Universe made available for the people of God.
The shape of Shin also refers to the Trinity, its shape is composed of three Hebrew letters Vau, placed next to each other, giving the number 666, which is the Beast of Revelation.
The number 666 is not always evil as it is often thought of, it is also known as a number of mystery.
The three flames in the letter Shin v are also explained as being representations of the active force of life, or even the passive force of life as a comforter.
The point is that the Hebrew letter represents life, spiritual life in general.
Saariym <yr]c*ô = the rulers, taskmasters, the slave drivers; it refer to the Chaldean so-called noble leaders, which were noble or leaders but promoters of Zimmah.
When the nobility of the land become decadent it is indicative that the land becomes distorted.
PRO 29:2 When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, But when a wicked man rules, people groan.
PRO 12:26 The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Stand in awe means to be overwhelmed and satisfied and occupied with as this says God’s word, Bible doctrine.
He has seen all the pressures, heartaches, the difficulties, and the disasters of life and he realizes nothing satisfies us like doctrine.
The Qal participle of Saas which looks like this in the Hebrew ccò` which means to be glad or to have inner happiness.
This is the Shin file which refers to eating, he ate doctrine and he received inner happiness even though outwardly there is nothing to rejoice about.
JER 15:16 Thy words were found and I ate them, And Thy words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart;
Falsehood = the Hebrew noun rq#v# sheqer meaning he hates or despises shams;
lies, deception; falsehood.
1CO 16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
EPH 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
COL 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;
1TH 5:6 so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.
1PE 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
The first word in the sentence is peace so the correct word order in the Hebrew is “Great peace [Sheba] have those who love Thy law or Your doctrine.
Answer-They don’t know how to handle people.
Qal perfect Hebrew verb asah, he has manufactured all that he needs in the disaster from the commands of God or the doctrines he has learned in the past.
The more doctrine you receive the more you fall in love with it.
Precepts refer to categorical doctrines.
Testimonies refer to the OT doctrines pertaining to our Lord’s testimonies before man.
JOB 23:12 “I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
MAT 4:4 “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'”
“be transformed” – pres-pass-imper of the verb metamorphous in the Greek and it means to transform, to change into another form, it is where we get the English word metamorphose from.
The present tense is for a command which must be habitual.
The passive voice, the believer doesn’t have to change himself, God does that.
The imperative mood is the imperative of command.
The verb “to be transformed” or “changed” is in the passive voice and not the active voice, which means we are passive toward the verb and we do nothing to produce the change……God does.
PHI 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
PHI 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
1TH 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
JOB 23:14 “For He performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him.
When you understand the importance of spiritual metabolism and eating the word of God, you understand who makes all the changes that need to be made in your life and how He does so.
In 2CO 3:18, “are being transformed” is pres-pass-ind of metamorphoo meaning to change you or transform you.
The present tense is a descriptive present which describes what takes place when a believer is faithful to the word of God.
The passive voice again the believer receives the action of the verb……he is being transformed.
The indicative mood is the reality of being changed as you behold the glory of the Lord.
Metabolism is the process that takes organic and inorganic substances such as proteins and water or air and changes them into energy for the physical body.
It is the chemical changes in living cells by which energy is provided for activity and action.
In metabolism new material is taken in and digested to repair the waste.
Just as metabolism takes place in the physical realm it also takes place in the spiritual realm.
This is how the believer becomes strengthened and filled with spiritual energy.
All believers must make a decision not to forsake assembling together as HEB 10:25 teaches.
EPH 3:18 that you may be able to comprehend in the presence of all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth.
Then after we have gathered together, either face-to-face or non face-to-face, there must be the filling of the Spirit.
Once the human spirit is taught the believer automatically understands it as “knowledge” or gnosis.
However, once we receive gnosis we are at the place where our volition must make a decision.
Rejection of truth or doctrine is a rejection of the food we need to be metabolized into spiritual energy and therefore strengthened.
It is only when gnosis is transformed into epignosis that the believer can receive the momentum to keep going. (Psa 119)
2CO 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves;”
JER 3:15 “Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.”
When gnosis is at the entrance of your soul ie. the mind, it is up to you whether you will let it in or not.
Metabolism is the chemical change in which
once the food is eaten it is metabolized and changed into energy for the body.
Spiritual metabolism converts spiritual food into spiritual energy.
Anabolism is the part that is converted for good
It is called the constructive part of metabolism
It takes small cells of energy and enlarges them.
Then there is catabolism which comes from the Greek katabole which means to throw down.
Doctrine does 2 things…it destroys some things that are no good and it builds you up with things that are good.
