One reason for repeating a technique many times comes from certain learning theories which teach us that when we perform a technique, a small electrical charge is conducted through our brain in a pattern that is particular to that activity.

PHI 3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.

PHI 3:1 Finally, my brethren, keep on having inner happiness in the Lord. On the one hand, to be writing the same doctrines to you is not troublesome to me, while on the other hand, it is a safeguard or a basis of security for you.

Just as a trail in the woods becomes more defined with use, so will the electrical pathways in our brain.

1. Repetition is defined under the principle of what you learn after you know it all.
2. The reason for repetition is that the rate of learning must exceed the rate of forgetting for the inculcation of Bible doctrine.
3. Failure to respond to repetition of Bible teaching results in the function of the three arrogance skills (self-justification, self-deception, and self-absorption).
