What happens when a believer refuses to rebound and get back in fellowship with God? Psa 38.

The arrow is for inner pain and it hits the nervous system inside of the body.
The hand has pressed down on me is for outer pain such as being slapped on the surface of the body.
David is saying this because he has forgotten that it is God that is still blessing him.
The pressure from refusing to rebound and get back in fellowship with God plus his hypersensitivity plus his total preoccupation with himself, is now getting to his head or the mentality of the soul.
Either the believer’s ignorance of Bible doctrine, or the believer’s failure to believe the doctrine that he has already been taught.
Don’t forget that this is all the result of refusing to rebound and get back in fellowship with God.
Why does one’s manner of life become meaningless when he lives in the palace, has everything that life could offer, and has the highest authority in the land, etc? Because once you refuse to rebound and get back in fellowship with God, your soul becomes filled with stress from your self-absorption, self-deception, self-justification.
No matter how high your spiritual attainment, you are minus capacity for love, capacity for life, and capacity for happiness.
Refusing to rebound and get back in fellowship with God not only knocks out the mentality and the I.Q. but arrogance knocks capacity for life which has been attained through spiritual growth.
Psychotic arrogance
The arrogance of unhappiness
The arrogance of disillusion
The arrogance of emotion
The arrogance of discouragement
Loins is the Hebrew word kesel and it refers to his nerves.
Neuroses is any of the various mental or emotional disorders, insecurity, anxiety, depression, and irrational fears.
Benumbed is the piel stem of pug which means I am paralyzed mentally.
The light of my eyes being taken away is loss of personality, loss of capacity for life, love and happiness.
When you refuse to rebound and get back in fellowship with God, you are so preoccupied with yourself that you become suspicious of everyone around you.
David presumes that all day long his enemies are plotting against him and that everyone has turned against him.
Because David has refused to rebound and get back in fellowship with God. Because David has refused to rebound and get back in fellowship with God, he has unbearable suffering.
There is no vindication or self-defense, only the unbearable suffering from refusing to rebound.
Without rebound his cause and his problems are his own and not the Lord’s.
JOB 34:31 “For has anyone said to God, ‘I have borne chastisement; I will not offend anymore;
Message Bible (JOB 34:31) “So why don’t you simply confess to God? Say, ‘I sinned, but I’ll sin no more.
(JOB 34:32) Teach me to see what I still don’t see. Whatever evil I’ve done, I’ll do it no more.’
Our Lord even taught this in LUK 11:2 And He said to them, “When you pray, say: #’Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come.
LUK 11:3 ‘Give us each day our daily bread.
This meant that a person who was deaf could be absolutely brilliant and yet understand nothing.
This simply means that if you refuse to rebound and get back in fellowship with God, you will be filled with stress.
Hearing is how they learned in the ancient world and therefore “not being able to hear” meant not being able to learn.
ROM 10:17 says “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”
MB ROM 10:17 The point is, Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.”
ISA 44:20, A deceived heart has turned him aside. And he cannot deliver himself, nor say, is there not a lie in my right hand?
The word for hope is the hiphil perfect of jachal which means to wait in intense pain, to wait in a pain that you can’t wait for.
So we could translate this, for I wait in unbearable pain for Thee, O Lord; Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.
Confess is the hiphil imperfect from the verb nagad which means to confess, to acknowledge, to announce, to declare.
Therefore it is equivalent to homologeo which means to admit, to cite, and to name.
Anxiety is the Qal imperfect of the verb daag which means to be troubled, to be anxious, to be concern, to be uneasy.
Refusing to rebound and remain in sin constantly only brings hardships upon the soul and anxiety upon the body.
