The hidden Peace and Prosperity from God. Part 1.
Friday, July 20, 2001
[kai] = in fact
Something is going to stand out in a striking and clearly defined way – the hidden peace of supergrace, so you might understand its significance related to your spiritual advance.
[he] + eirene] = tranquility, health and prosperity.
Shalom = eirene. One in O. T. Hebrew, one in N. T. Koine Greek. Both mean benefit or prosperity, inwardly and overtly.
mystery = musteerion = a hidden thing, a secret, a mystery; not obvious to the understanding; an experience in our relationship with God that surpasses all comprehension.
EPH 1:9 “He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him.”
ROM 16:25-26 “the revelation of the mystery doctrine has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, by the Scriptures.”
Hidden wisdom = apokruptoo = a wisdom hidden in the sense of being concealed and kept secret only for those who have been initiated into the advanced spiritual life.
The intellect is a noble gift and is to be honored and used, but it is not infallible and it is limited, and at best is a feeble instrument of knowledge.
There is an experience of the spiritual life that in PHI 4:7, surpasses all comprehension, and which has not entered the heart of man, 1CO 2:9, which surpasses knowledge, EPH 3:19, and is exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, EPH 3:20.
REV 2:17 “to the winner believer I will give some of the hidden manna,”
“he eirene” = that spiritual peace or prosperity.
“Eirene” = salvation benefit, especially reconciliation; here a special benefit to the believer who advances to ultra-supergrace and begins to experience resurrection life in time.
It refers to the spiritual benefits and prosperity that motivates the believer to continue the advance to ultra-supergrace in spite of the problems and difficulties.
[tou] + [theou] + he] = from the source of the God.
PHI 4:7 “In fact, that spiritual peace or prosperity from the source of the God,”
ACT 5:41 “So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing [+H] that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for {His} name.”
This hidden peace which comes from God includes fantastic capacity for life, capacity for love, capacity for happiness, capacity for blessing.
This hidden peace which comes from God includes total appreciation of the character and essence of God, plus an understanding of God’s priorities and following them.
This hidden peace and prosperity includes the dynamics of divine viewpoint mental attitude, as well as the ability to face any suffering, any pressure, any disaster in life.
