The hidden Peace and Prosperity from God. Part 2.
Sunday, July 22, 2001
PHI 4:7 – the hidden prosperity which comes from supergrace and ultra-supergrace.
There is part of the spiritual life that goes beyond our understanding.
PHI 4:7 – it surpasses all comprehension, 1CO 2:9 – it has not entered the heart of man, EPH 3:19 – it surpasses knowledge,
EPH 3:20 – it is exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think.
“Eirene” [peace] = a special benefit to the believer who continues in the advanced spiritual life and goes on to ultra-supergrace and begins to experience resurrection life in time.
PHI 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, (NIV)
PHI 4:7 “If you do this, you will experience Gods peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” TLB
PHI 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,” (ASV)
Hidden peace = sharing + +H especially under pressure, ACT 5:41 “So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for {His} name.”
Hidden peace = includes fantastic capacity for life, capacity for love, capacity for happiness, capacity for blessing, PHI 4:12.
Hidden peace = total appreciation of the character and the essence of God, plus an understanding of God’s priorities and following them.
Hidden peace = prosperity, the dynamics of divine viewpoint mental attitude, as well as the ability to face any suffering, any pressure, any disaster in life.
2TI 3:12 “And indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”
PRO 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.”
JOB 13:15 “Though He slay me, I will trust in Him.”
Hidden peace = the intensification of blessings by the continual opposition, pressure, and persecution from the satanic forces of evil especially in no man’s land.
The more pressure placed upon you, the more you can experience the hidden peace and prosperity that comes from God.
Success comes via failure; life springs out of death.
PRO 11:24 “There is one who scatters, yet increases all the more,
“eirene” = peace, tranquility, health and prosperity. It connotes two types of prosperity, inner peace with God and overt prosperity and blessing!
1. Not as the things of the world which men commonly pursue – pleasure, fame, and wealth, but end up leaving worry, anxiety, and emptiness.
2. Not as the men and women of the world give. They salute you with empty and flattering words, but their professed friendship has all kinds of conditions attached to it.
One day youre from God, the next day youre a murderer, ACT 28:4-6.
3. Not as the systems of philosophy and false religion give. Their peace is not real. It does calm the voice of conscience; but it does not take away sin or reconcile the soul to God.
His peace – meets all the desires of the soul, silences the fears of the guilty and condemned conscience, and will abide forever no matter what we face.
PHI 4:6 “Stop worrying about anything, but in every circumstance through prayer and through supplication for personal needs after thanksgivings let your requests or petitions be revealed to the God. In fact, that spiritual peace from the source of the God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
No external circumstances can rob this peace from a believer, not even the greatest trials or tribulations.
“I leave my peace with you. I not only give you a title to it, but put you in possession of it.”
LUK 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”
