False motivation hinders spiritual growth, PHI 2:14; JOB 17:11.
PHI 2:13 for it is God [Holy Spirit] who is at work in you, both to will [give you motivation] and to work [the ability to execute] above and beyond His good pleasure.
PHI 2:14 Keep on doing all things without sullen discontent [pouting] or argumentations [which undermine authority];
The great issue in spiritual giving is motivation, 2CO 9:7.
For the mature believer, God turns evil motivation against them into grace blessing, GEN 50:20, DEU 23:5.
GEN 50:20 “And as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.”
DEU 23:5 the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you because the Lord your God loves you.
The motivation of the mature believer is often maligned, EXO 17:3.
Moses was a constant challenge to their pride until finally their pride blew up and triggered the mechanism of jealousy, vindictiveness, implacability, etc.
The importance of understanding the existence of free will in the human race.
Man does not have a free will or a choice.
Calvinists -hyper-Calvinists = man cannot choose God or the plan of God and therefore God must choose Him.
Many Calvinists hold to the doctrine of double predestination which is heresy and an attack upon the justice of God.
1CO 2:7 but we speak Gods wisdom in a mystery, the hidden {wisdom,} which God predestined before the ages to our glory;
EPH 1:5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
EPH 1:11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,

Every member of the human race since then has been born into sin without their consent, so if God sent them to hell because they were born sinners, He would be unjust in doing so.
All children who die before the age of accountability, mentally speaking, go to heaven and are given eternal life,2SA 12:23.
All retarded people who have been mentally incapable of making a decision to believe on TLJC as their Lord and Savior will go to heaven, JON 4:11.
