GEN 16:9 “Then the angel of the Lord [Jesus Christ] said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself to her authority.”
We cannot have a correct understanding of the importance of authority unless we have a right understanding of our Lord as the all-powerful one, having all authority.
Our Lord “Trains our hands for battle,” 2SA 22:25.
As justice is the guardian of divine essence and all of the attributes of God, so omnipotence is the power of the authority of God and gives life and action to the attributes of God.
