“The world” – kosmos, which originally meant ideas, is used for the world system and it is Satan’s world. The ideas that come from Satan represent the whole human viewpoint, the whole anti-biblical view of life.

Those involved in the world system, which is the majority of mankind, hated Christ. The same is true for everypositive believer.

John 12:25
“He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.

1 John 3:13
Do not marvel, brethren, if the world hates you.

Fact: Any person involved in the world system will hate a positive believer who does not compromise his doctrine.

1 John 3:13
Do not marvel, brethren, if the world hates you.

The word “hate” is present linear aktionsart, which means the world keeps on hating, and the world always will hate Bible doctrine.

Only in the eternal state, after all evil is abolished and judged and only +R of God prevails will there be +R and +J everywhere. So, in time, get used to it.

“My time is not yet come.” = Second Advent.

At the Second Advent Jesus will come to Jerusalem and He will show His glory for all the world to see.

The cross must come before the crown.

The citizens of God’s eternal kingdom must have eternal life. The only way they can have eternal life is for Jesus Christ to go to the cross and get it for them.

He cannot fulfil the tabernacles [last feast = Millennium] until first of all He fulfils the Passover [first feast = cross].

His time of glory is not now, but He says to them “your time is always opportune,” which means that they always have an opportunity to believe.

Christ’s humility and victory = the cross.

Man’s victory without humiliation = faith at the cross (always opportune).

Christ’s and the believer’s glory = Second coming.

The only way to be prepared for the eternal kingdom of God is to believe in Christ as saviour.

Your foundation cannot be Jesus Christ without going through the cross, and that is at salvation. Experiential death continues through time as He increases and you decrease.
