The Book of John stands apart from the other three Gospels. Written nearly 30 years after Matthew, Mark and Luke, the purpose of John is evangelistic.

How excited John must have felt. He got to see the very Prophecy he was prophesying, not many prophets did. He did. Imagine his excitement.
LUK 3: 21-23, Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,
and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.”
When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age,

And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.”
The fact that they had run out of wine was not the issue for HIM. HE was about to show HE was the creator, and a result would be the wine.
They were only for water, once they were contaminated with anything else they could not be used for the purification rituals.
Also notice there were 6 pots, six is the number of man, it is also the number therefore that represents sin.
The Samaritans embraced a religion that was a mixture of Judaism and idolatry. Because the Israelite inhabitants of Samaria had intermarried with the foreigners and adopted their idolatrous religion, Samaritans were generally considered half-breeds and were universally despised by the Jews.
So were the other husbands killed in war? 5 is the number of grace. Maybe she was living with someone, maybe a relative, who knows, preachers go wild on the speculation. Including that she had to go get water in the heat of the day, all nonsense.
4:20, “Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you (the Jews) say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.”
From this point in vs 3 through vs 4 is not in the original manuscripts. It appears to be added later in the margins if you will by the scribes probably to add that that’s what people believed, it wasn’t true. Satan…This is how other healings can occur. Not to say the LORD doesn’t do miracles, HE does.
38 is GOD’s glory, GOD’s will, to increase. 38 is 3 divine plus 8 new beginnings. 11 total, 1+1 = 2. 2 is choice.
