Judas was not only a traitor: All about transference arrogance.

Character trait #1:  Judas was not only a traitor; he was also a hypocrite because the very things that Judas despised in others is the very thing that he did himself.

Transference arrogance = accusing someone else of that which is true about your own life.

Every believer has a sin nature and under the right conditions has the potential to be a walking bombshell ready to explode.

Becoming involved in transference arrogance is the most subtle way to explode within by way of self-righteous arrogance and self-justification.

Joseph’s brothers assumed in arrogance that once their father Jacob died, that Joseph would take revenge on them for selling him into slavery.

Those ten brothers were living fragmented lives, flawed, even when living happily in Egypt.

The Bible teaches that Egypt would no longer be considered to be a great nation again because of their involvement with the “gods.”

It was the brothers themselves who had revenge in their souls, and they transferred their own flaws and sins to Joseph.

They concluded that Joseph was buying time, waiting to take his revenge on them when their father Jacob died.

They did something that we all have done at one time, they transferred their own arrogant and evil motivation and thinking to Joseph.

Character trait #1:  Judas was not only a traitor; he was also a hypocrite because the very things that Judas despised in others is the very thing that he did himself.

Character trait #2: Judas accused others of being greedy when in reality, he was the greedy one who was also filled with envy and jealousy.

Character trait #3: Judas was also a thief, stealing or robbing funds from the Lord’s money box, which exposes that Judas was full of avarice or greed; MAT 26:6-16

Character trait #4: Judas was a liar, not someone who tells lies every so often, but he was a liar as his father (the devil) was.

Character trait #5: Judas was a loser and like all losers, he judges and criticizes all who he can for self-promotion.

The point is that Judas was not only a traitor, he was also a hypocrite, a liar, a thief, filled with envy and jealousy, but most of all, greed.

The one apostle who was a reflection of the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ more than any of the others, and that is the apostle Paul.

In JOH 13 beginning in verse 18, our Lord is telling them that there is a traitor in their midst and that he is about to betray Him.

Judas was not a traitor according to the Word of God, Judas became a traitor – the verb that is mentioned is as the aor-mid-indicative of  ginomai which means to become something that one was not before.

I do not believe that the Lord chose Judas to fulfill a prophecy of damnation.

Hyper-Calvinism – a branch of Protestant theology that denies the universal duty of human beings to believe in Christ for the salvation of their souls.

Main flaw of hyper-Calvinism, the doctrine of imputation which states that every member of the human race is born in sin because of Adam’s personal sin not because of theirs; ROM 5:12; PSA 51:5; 58:3.

ROM 5:12, Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

PSA 51:5, Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.

PSA 58:3, The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.

Key word = “sinned” = the aorist active indicative of the verb hamartano which means that the entire human race sinned when Adam sinned.

ACT 4:12, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

It is something that God did “to us” and “for us” without our consent.

Do you have a god that would choose some people to go to heaven and others to go to hell or the Eternal Lake of Fire, when in reality both parties were born sinners not by their own choice?

Our God is just and righteous and would not even consider Hyper- Calvinism which destroys and distorts the grace of God, the mercy of God, but most of all, the Word of God.

Those who take these principles to the extreme teach that man is either chosen by God to go to heaven and live with Him forever or man is chosen by God to go to eternal damnation.

These types of believers function under what the acronym TULIP which is a reference to the five essential tenets or points concerning the Sovereignty of God and the depravity of man.

(T) Total Depravity.
(U) Unconditional election;
(L) Limited atonement;
(I)  Irresistible grace;
(P) Perseverance of the saints.

It’s the prophecy that our Lord prophesied to His disciples at the Last Supper.

When our Lord was around adult believers, or Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes,  all of them were astonished by His knowledge and spiritual strength; LUK 2:40-52.

This is not to say our Lord was not strong physically, because it took a lot of human strength to endure the beatings, the punches whip, the forced crown upon His head.

All of these principles apply to betrayers and traitors who make a living by manipulation, lies, broken vows; broken promises; etc.

If you love the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, there is divine blessing waiting just for you.

He would be betrayed by sighting certain prophecies in the Word of God, especially from those prophecies that were made in the Old Testament.

ZEC 11:12-13, this passage was written to the shepherds who were not doing their job of feeding the people of Israel.

The Lord is rebuking the shepherds for betraying the people of God. Denying them doctrinal teaching and therefore, the Lord uses a prophecy that points to the ultimate betrayer, Judas Iscariot.

The minute details that characterize the prophetic passages in the Bible are so accurate and precise that any scientist or numerologist wouldn’t even think of denying it.

I was not telling the truth when I said I studied the Bible myself and I said I don’t believe it because it was written by man and not by God:” – I was just saying what I heard others say.”

If you are honest, sincere, open to truth, and most of all you are looking for the reason why you exist, the Bible has all the answers if you give it a chance.

The only real barrier to truth is the arrogance of presumption whereby one presumes that they already have it.

Give it a chance – you’ll love it – be honest – you will begin to know the real meaning behind statements like; “You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.

“Those born once will die twice and those born twice will die once.”

Theologically all of us were born in sin, we were born physically alive, but spiritually dead; PSA 51:5; 58:3; ROM 5:12

Can he be born again which means that he would be born twice, once physically, the other spiritually.

Marvel is the aorist-active-subjunctive of thaumazo (thou-mad’-zo); to marvel, to admire, to be amazed, be astonished, and to have reverence and adoration.

“Those born once will die twice and those born twice will die once.”

If you are born once that is only physical birth, then you will die twice which refers to physical death followed by the second death; REV 2:11

Do you believe Him?
Do you Love Him?
Do you trust Him?
Do you respect Him?
