Learn how to control life instead of life controlling you. Using the Word of GOD.

In JOH 15:1, we have the reference to the deity of Christ and the purpose of God the My Father as our vinedresser over us.

In Joh 15:2, we have the union between our Lord and His people backed up by the unified statement; “Every believer that does not bear fruit, the Father takes away,”

“the Father takes away” = the present active indicative of the verb airo meaning to lift up; to take up or to take away for the purpose up lifting up the burdens, the weight, picking up leftover pieces of bread, or to be an anchor.

This is also a very careful manifestation of positional truth with God the Father and God the Son along with God the Holy Spirit — all dealing with the same problem of being accused of not knowing God as we really should in our positional truth with Him; Joh 15:2

The life of God in the souls of men also known as your salvation and your dogmatical interpretation also known as Theandric Action or the life of God in the souls of man; Joh 15:3.

Every {branch} that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit which is a reference to undeserved suffering by our Lord; JOH 15:4.

We also have a reference to undeserved suffering producing more fruit in the life of the believer in the realm of Joh 15:4-5.

Fellowship with the Lord and us is found in abiding; JOH 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither {can} you, unless you abide in Me.

Disciples is the Greek word mathetes which means student of the Word of God and what does mathetes mean?

Disciples requested mastery over the details of life; MAT 8:21.

Disciples followed our Lord and were manifested by their rebellion toward the Pharisees who complained whenever they saw our Lord’s disciples not following certain rules and regulations in the Torah or under the Law.

The words that I am about to point out to you all point to the same doctrinal principle of having to do with “fruit,  fellowship, pruning and abiding relationships.

“It’s not how hard you can hit, it’s how many times you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

PRO 24:16    For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in {time of} calamity.

Fruit is also mentioned or referred to as “Abide; Joh 15:4.

Words are the thoughts that together reveal who we are and what we think; 1Sa 16:7, Psa 147:10-11.

PSA 147:10   He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.

PSA 147:11  The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness.

Words can be the most vicious forms of hurting others and thinking that as humans, we are better than them.

The one thing that you need to focus in on is based upon the fact that, “For changes to be of any true value, they’ve got to be lasting and consistent” according to the word of God.

PRO 24:16    For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in {time of} calamity.

They will use words to deceive you and accomplish what they desire through lying, flattery, deceit, manipulation, smooth talk, scheming as they lie to you for the sake of self-promotion or gaining an advantage.

They have an ultimate goal to deceive us by using words that flatter those individuals who are still listening to their garbage of flattery.

“They” live in, and desire all the “stuff” that they possess, but in most, they cheat and steal from others with self-justification as their excuse.

Their house is not a home; it is a treasure chest that they got from stealing from others.

A real decision to go forward with God is measured by the fact that you’ve taken new actions with those decisions.

You do not live by the words that you say but by the action that you take.

If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided to make the changes that you claim to believe and need.

LUK 16:15  Here is where our Lord He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.

One of the best secrets that the mature believers have is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you.

The suffering especially of the adult spiritual believer is found with blessings even if the suffering was deserved or not!

Under undeserved sufferings, blessings are given to us because of who God is and not who we are especially when we realize that whether or not the suffering is deserved or undeserved, we are still under grace.

ROM 11:5   In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.

ROM 11:6   But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Speaking of the grace of God, we read, LUK 2:40  And the Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

In JOH 1:14, we are told that our Lord became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

If you do that, you’re in control of your life.

If you don’t, life controls you.

In DEU 30:15 Moses writes,  “See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity;

In DEU 30:19  “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before your life and death, the blessing and the curse. So, choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

If you do that, then you’re in control of your life.

If you don’t, life controls you.”

The only problems we really have is when we think we’re not supposed to have problems or that we need to get use to handling the problems ourselves instead of relying upon the Lord.

Problems call us to a higher level of living the spiritual life — face and solve the spiritual life now, while we can.

Prin: I  believe that all of our failures and frustrations were actually laying the foundation for the new understandings that they have created for us to live in the truth that sets us free.

The key is not to quit but to continue.

I have learned, not through the coronavirus, but in my heart that we all need to be reminded of the fact that we usually need to improve some major doctrinal applications to overcome our problems.

When I want something or desire something, or need something, I seem to try everything except the most important thing, which is my prayer life with God.

MAT 5:44  “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you.

MAT 21:22  “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.”

What use is it asking, if you are truly not believing passages like  MAR 11:24-26.

May I remind you that times have changed but people have not.

The Hellenistic Jews had seniority over the native Hebrews and just like the flesh operates in favoritism of their own, they also played favoritism and a respecter of persons.

Brethren – Greek masculine of ‎adelphos meaning a male believer.

Men – Greek noun masculine of aner referring to a male believer.

The word is the Greek noun in the masculine referring to males only.

EPH 4:11  And He gave some {as} apostles [masculine], and some {as} prophets [masculine], and some  {as} evangelists [masculine], and some {as} pastors and teachers, — Two words both in the masculine.

We are weak when it comes to prayer that God provide a two-fold ministry for us concerning prayer.

The Holy Spirit is given, ROM 8:26   And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for {us} with groanings too deep for words;

Second, the Lord Jesus Christ prays for us in Heb 7:25 Hence, also, He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

PHI 4:6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

COL 4:2   Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with {an attitude of} thanksgiving;

COL 4:3   praying at the same time for us as well, that God may open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned;

Lack of the husband’s godly treatment towards his wife hinders their prayer life says the Apostle Peter in 1Pe 3:7.

1Pe 3:7   You husbands likewise, live with {your wives} in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and grant her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

I have learned that I don’t have certain prayers and certain needs met because I try everything except to ask – to ask God in prayer.

JAM 4:2   You lust and do not have; so, you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain; so, you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.

The problem for many of us is that we feel funny or ashamed for even asking for something, especially when you have people in your life who make you feel like that.

They have the finances to do so when  I can tell you before the Lord how untrue that statement is —- because the ones that are the most gracious are usually the same ones who have personal needs themselves.

We go back to some of the principles that are found doctrinally in the Old Testament that we have all learned in the past many years ago.

Patience + Persistence + Pleasure = get yourself back on the road to prosperity.

Hollywood — ISA 3:9  “even the expression of their faces bears witness against them. And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves.”

The media will remain promoting ISA 5:20  Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Arrogance will continue to elevate the pride of man as they says in ISA 5:21  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And clever in their own sight!

A loose lifestyle will be portrayed like ISA 5:22  Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine, And valiant men in mixing strong drink;

Internationalism and not patriotism will also be bought; ISA 5:23 “They will justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!”

“Do you  believe in 2Ti 3:16 which says, “All Scripture is inspired by God?”

Do you also believe ACT 10:34  “that God is not one to show partiality?”

What God does for one, He will do for others providing they do not get consumed by the prosperity and God has certain laws and principles that we are to follow concerning giving, money, or finances.

God created all the wealth on this earth, HAG 2:8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts.

In PSA 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.

PSA 50:10 “For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills.

If He was willing to give us His only Son, why would He hold anything else back from us?

He has already given us His best; does it make any sense to believe that He would refuse to give us the rest?

Paul put it like this, ROM 8:32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

PSA 84:11  No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

2CO 8:9  For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

MAT 7:8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.”

If we can’t believe God’s promises in the area of our finances, how can we be sure that we can believe His promises for eternal salvation and everything else we claim to believe?

Does God really want me to be financially prosperous?

Does God care about what type of house I live in or car I drive?

Does the Bible teach us to get out of debt?

How can I increase my giving to God if I can’t even pay my debts with the money I’m earning now?

All of these questions will be answered according to biblical principles and God’s laws of prosperity.

One extreme concern those people who hear that God wants them to prosper and follow Him simply for that reason.

God created all the wealth on this earth, HAG 2:8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts.

PSA 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.

PSA 50:10 “For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills.

God created all the wealth on this earth.

Did He create it for unbelievers?

Did He create it for hard hearted, sinful men and women who curse Him, deny Him and disobey His word and could care less about Him?

Does He really want to see them prosper and not His own children?

ROM 8:32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

PSA 84:11  No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
