it’s designed to validate God’s supernatural Word

If God didn’t create time, then prophecy couldn’t exist. Therefore, one may conclude that time is more than just a construct for mankind to keep things serially organized.

God, as the supreme architect of human history, uses time as a foundational construct on which to build prophecy. On prophecy is built proof that the Word of God is indeed supernatural.

2TI 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires


A right thing must be done in the right way.

We are to be His bondslaves!

1PE 2:16

Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.

The Lord demands absolute honesty…not perfection!

1SA 16:7

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at theheart.”

Divine discipline is just as perfect as divine grace, mercy, and love.

JAM 2:19

You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

2PE 1:10

Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;

the father of the groom makes the arrangements for the marriage and pays the bride price

during the next year, the groom prepares a home, and then fetches his new bride

only a few people are invited to the actual wedding ceremony

the “marriage feast followed and would last around 7 days; many were invited

Looking the part isn’t enough.

1JO 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us.
