Loving the Reflection
Pastor Ed Reflection
I saw my wife elevate her treatment of her husband because the Holy Spirit taught her that her truest bride-ship is with her Lord (EPH 5:22)...as a result, she became more beautiful to me (Psa 31)
EPH 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
The “heart” here is the Hebrew word “leb” which means “inner man, will, heart”.
The Hebrew for “trusts in her” is “rely, secure, feel secure”.
What’s man’s greatest fear when it comes to his wife?
2Cor. 11:3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
We must first learn to love ourselves before loving others.
1CO 9:23 I do all things for the sake of the gospel,
BOTH of these situations make a contribution to the MAGNITUDE of love I have towards the other person
How do you ever fall in love with someone that you don’t really know?
1KI 8:57 “May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us or forsake us,
2Tim. 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
God is perfectly faithful because the object of His faith is Himself!
1Cor. 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.
MAR 8:36 “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul
